When the Onion is at the top of its game, you are barely able to distinguish their stories from what's actually happening.
This story has *really* lacked in traction. In spite of Obama announcing it, it's difficult to even find a story on it. |

My initial thought about this was that some idiot had gotten hold of another story in the Onion and was taking it seriously again. But that's my same initial reaction to about 90% of the "news" that gets posted in here.

I didn't say I defend it. You presume far too much. I have bitched and moaned a great deal about the expansion of government under GWB too.
I only mentioned that in principle (which, in government is almost always bullshit) the DHS was supposed to consolidate "homeland security" functions run by other departments. What is the *principle* behind a Department of Business? Are you completely incapable of discussing anything without it being a "righties suck because" discussion? |
