They are taught that the police will take care of them, instead of taking care of themselves. Gangs can't be charged with being in a gang, that is against the 1st amendment. Gangs and members can only be charged with crimes they commit that there is evidence to support. Gangs have existed in this country long before it was the US. A gang is nothing more than a club that partakes in illegal activities. Gangs may terrorize but they are not terrorists, they have no political motive. Maybe when the power shifts in DC the conservatives can label liberal nerds who may be dangerous to children as dangerous and declare war on them. You want to get rid of gangs, then catch them doing crimes, and report them. Encourage people to stand up to them. The biggest gang in this country is the federal government, and many of us are standing up to them. Bobby if you don't like the constitution you have a couple choices. You can try to legally change it, or get the fuck out, and go some place that has communism.

Second due process can still be upheld. It is called quit the gang life by July of 2013 or be considered an illegal combatant in the war on terror.

User Details are only visible to members.	I think if we treated many of these gangs as they ought to be treated, they wouldn't exist as they do today. That is rounding up their adult leadership, try them for subversion of the local government and corruption of minors. The subversion should net execution. Take them out back into the parking lot, shoot them in the head with them on their knees and be done with their traitorous filth. Once enough of them become violent enough, their own people who aren't covered in blood would either be pushed out or kill the gangs themselves when they know being 18 and convicted of being a gang member equals death. Now the criminals are back to being petty muggers on the streets and they can be delt with by improving the standards of living of everyone.

Police Chief Steve Frazier said Thursday that it appeared the store owner, Bryan Lee, had little choice but to return fire when Aquilla Bailey, 31, burst into the Almond Avenue Pharmacy firing a .45 caliber Smith & Wesson pistol at Lee and his mother, Sophie. Lee, an Army veteran, returned fire with a 1911-model Colt .45. Frazier said Bailey shot six or seven times, with one round hitting Sophie Lee in the leg. Lee fired five back, mortally wounding Bailey and also apparently shooting Bailey's fellow Dogpound gang member Jonte Harris, 27, twice in the leg.
