Do you people NOT see the anti logic in pointing out crime incidents in places with lax gun regulation and CC permits, and then claiming"it's working"? You really DON'T do you? "Look how well arming people works, there are cases of them fighting off criminals every day" LMAO It's kinda like Texas claiming the death penalty is working to reduce murder, and offering the fact they use it so often as proof.

Dumb Home invasion suspect dies of gunshot wound.

whiotv.c om/news/news/crime-law/fairborn-police-investigate-shooting-on-victoria-a/nT8pZ/

FAIRBORN —

One man was killed and another shot in the leg when they, along with three others, allegedly participated in a home invasion Monday evening where the residents fought back.

Police said Tuesday that it is still a bit unclear what prompted the five individuals, ages 19 to 23, to force their way into the Victoria Avenue home while brandishing a fake plastic gun.

Fairborn Police Sgt. Paul Hicks said the only motive they’ve uncovered was that the subjects intended to rob the home.

Two Wright State University students who live at 1006 Victoria Ave. were home when the intruders entered.

Trent Seitz, 21, reportedly struggled with the men and was ordered to the floor. He called out for his roommate, Christopher Muse, who told police that he grabbed a gun and fired at the men.

Ta’Vaun Fambrough, 19, was shot in the chest.

Three of the alleged intruders took off running, including 20-year-old Anthony Barwick II, who had been shot in the leg.

When police arrived they found those three individuals around the corner on West Parkwood Drive. Fambrough and another suspect were located at the Victoria address.

Fambrough was taken to Miami Valley Hospital where he later died.

Chehalis homeowner shoots, wounds intruder

Chehalis, Wash - A man who broke into an occupied home early Sunday in Chehalis was shot by the home's owner, the Lewis County Sheriff's Office says.

Deputies arrived at the home shortly before 5 a.m. to find one man with a gunshot wound.

Deputies say a 51-year-old man broke into the home where a 24-year-old man and his wife were sleeping. The owner called 911, then armed himself with a pistol while waiting for deputies to arrive.

At one point, the suspect charged down a hallway toward the homeowner, who fired a shot, hitting the suspect. The two men then became involved in struggle until the suspect was able to break free.

The homeowner held the suspect at gunpoint until deputies arrived.

KING 5 spoke with a man who also saw the suspect Sunday morning, rummaging through boxes on his patio. The man chased him away.

Brad Reynolds, a retired cop, runs the neighborhood watch.

"I think it proves the point that we need guns," he said. "I am armed. I am always armed."

"Everybody involved in the scenario last night was part of our neighborhood watch program with the exception of the guy laying in Harborview with a bullet in him,” he said.

Reynolds set up the watch because of a house he believes has had a steady stream of bad tenants. The suspect was living there, and told police he was on meth.

A woman who answered the door Sunday had no comment.

The home is a reason why most people there say they have guns.

Neighbors were warned about the person in the shooting just hours before. The watch said, watch out.

Reynolds sent an e-mail Saturday, notifying others the suspect had moved in and to be aware. That he hadn't done anything wrong, but he has a criminal history.

"Twelve hours later, he's breaking into homes and getting himself shot,” said Reynolds. "I'm sorry a guy got shot. Nobody wants to see somebody get shot. But if you're going to break into a house on this street, it's not a good idea,” said Reynolds.

The suspect was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he was listed in stable condition. He faces charges of burglary and assault.

All gun control is based on racism, and economic bigotry, and elitism.

Norcal no offense but how many felons go through background checks to get their guns? They do not work, they cost money, and they are a hassle for law abiding citizens who go through more to buy a firearm than a criminal does.

In short they do not work, and it allows the federal government to use the form 4473 to find who owns guns and what guns they own. It is backdoor registration. We should be fighting to remove all infringements on the 2A. The only thing more checks will accomplish is keeping the poor further from defending themselves by making more costly to obtains tools of self defense. Plus the checks have the added problem of actually causing more crime.

Outdoors I am in favor of background checks for all firearms sales.

I am not in favor of reduced magazine capacity.

In most home invasion crimes there are more than one intruder, in many incidents, more than two. In a high stress low light shooting situation I would prefer to not to have to find another magazine and reload. How does that work?? Do you just call time out!!!!!!!!

The left is pushing the fantasy that you only need three rounds or five cartridges or 10 has to be enough in a home invasion situation. That is pure stupidity!!!!! No it takes as many as it takes and that number is not a decision of the victim but of the criminals who chose to violate that home. If there are three of them then I damn well want more than ten rounds in that magazine. It is a stupid presumption that anyone can make that decision for me ahead of time. Within known facts it is easily anticipated that more than 10 rounds may be necessary if a home owner is forced to stop multiple intruders who are determined to do harm that family.

I've been in a few close quarter firefights. I have never had the thought that I had too much ammo in a magazine when it was all done. That is pure stupidity. You do not shoot the bad guy one time and then stop wait to see if you hit them and what effect it had. You keep pulling the trigger until they are stopped and can no longer harm you.

IT’S BEEN A BAD WEEK FOR ROBBERS IN DETROIT: CONCEALED CARRY HOLDERS FIGHT BACK AND OPEN FIRE Feb. 8, 2013 10:45pm

Twice this week robbers in Detroit were shot by concealed carry holders who refused to be victims.

On Thursday night, a pair of teenagers approached two utility workers with the intention of robbing them. What the criminals didn’t know is one of the workers was a concealed carry holder. He pulled out his handgun and shot both teens, injuring them — one crucially and the other seriously.

“He’s protecting himself. I mean, he’s licensed to carry a concealed weapon, you know, so he knows what he’s doing,” said Denzel Williams, who heard the gun shots from a distance.

Last Friday, a high school basketball coach was walking two female players to their cars after practice when they were approached by two teen boys. The teenagers “announced a holdup” and grabbed the coach by his chain necklace and stuck something in his chest, WXYZ-TV reports. Police did not reveal if it was a gun.

After struggling with the teens for a period of time, the coach is able to get some distance between himself and his attackers. The 70-year-old coach then pulled out his concealed handgun and fired at the robbers, hitting both of them, one of them fatally.

Police say 16-year-old Michael Scott was killed in the botched robbery attempt. His 15-year-old accomplice was taken to the hospital in serious condition. Though the high school coach was initially taken into custody, a police source says the shooting appears to be a justified, self-defense homicide.

Outdoor:

If I had a weapon, I would say the extended clip would be a problem if I wasn't using buck shit and a shot gun. Then again, I like fighting closer range and ensuring death.sit on my bed, weapon aimed a the door with a porno playing of a woman orgasiming and wait for the would be theft/optimistic rapist to open the door. "hello, meet Lokiet... My trickster boom stick" boom.

Actuall in this case a slug would be best... Simply turn their head inside out. The blood will destroy the walls/ceiling, floor tiles and wood...

Yes, in the city, a short range, but more powerful weapon is best. Typically having a slower rate of fire.

However in the country and on farms, the owners need a greater distance to shoot as theives could be stealing their tractors or farm equipment. When this is the case, I would give the owner a pass... So long as the keys weren't left in the equipment or the theives had a means of transport like a flat bed.

This has happened a few times in PA where small farm equipment has gone missing and a flat bed was used to steal it.
