M, so far BHO has the votes to win, unless he fucks up. So staying hands off is the right move for reelection, IMO.

It's election year Lucky, BHO is fucked if he does, or does not.

"The Red Cross "civil war" designation will likely have little consequence on the ground in Syria, but the distinction does mean that international humanitarian law now applies throughout the country and could have implications for war crimes prosecutions. Humanitarian law, also referred to as the "rules of war," grants all parties in an armed conflict the right to use appropriate force to achieve their aims."

But Nothing from actual world conferences, Nothing from the UN, and most certainly not from BHO.

The same Red Cross that has it's headquarters in the Syrian Internal affairs Ministry. Yes M the very same. The International Red Cross not to be confussed with the American Red Cross.

Red Cross? (I can't see Ghost's posts so have no idea what he's yammering about).

But saw Lucky mention Red Cross,

Would that be the same Red Cross that allows Hamas to use their ambulances to transport terrorists?

The same Red Cross that carried gas pallets to the Nazi's to use on Jews?

That Red Cross?

If you notice it actually deals with the 'civil war' (a legal UN designation) aspect very well, which explains quite a bit of why we or anyone else is not getting involved more.

I noticed that the Red Cross has designated it a civil war. But no one else has. And The Russian and Iranian certainly are involved.

and a new-found (re-found?) neo-con saber rattling stance from Putin.

Neo Con...Your entire stance went political in one sentence. No one is rattling sabres. Except Iran and Russia, who has recently sent Tanks and special forces to back up Assad.

If I had to distill Obama's foreign policy stance in a quote it would be:

"Keep your friends close and your enemies closer."

Which I believe is 'pitch perfect' in the world we live in today.....
