Now I have heard of the 809th Red horse squadron... I think they replaced my squadron in Afghanistan. (I was in the 201st, attached to the 1st ERHG (Expedition red horse group.) In 2005. I don't know about the 401st... never heard of them. As for jobs. Personel, doesn't translate into a civilian job field. Supply, isn't going to translate into a meaningful job above maybe 20k a year. Military Police, No one in the civilian world really wants a military cop.. the military life causes the soldier to become too abrasive. Cook, Please,... the level of cook we had, maxed out at what you learn from working in Denny's for a year. Rip open bag of prefabricated food, boil until ready.

Military police isn't anything like civilian police... first you can't be as brisk, or blunt in the civilian world as you can in the military world. (AKA, like when my father rifle butted a full colonel for attepting to bully his way past the check point without the proper paper work. The base commander congradulated my father for it and the colonel received a generals note which means no reenlistment for him. SAC bases are a bitch... aren't they. :-)" Bull shit.

I would keep them to myself as I can read and know that they don't agree with them.
