Perf you have any idea of how much bombs cost, let alone the cost of one or more high tech fighters?

And I don't think we were spending very much in Libya or Syria before we stuck our nose in.

We do not have to pump as much money into these countries as the past, but peace is cheaper than war. Just some people make less money during peace.

It's not just Obama it seems his buddy David Cameron is leading the way.

"There's talk of a deal where Iran turns over the al Qaeda leaders it’s harboring and joining the fight against ISIS along side the U.S in return for nuclear concessions "

That would be a mistake on such a grand scale that only a dumbfuck like Obama could make it.

Obama keeps dumping more and more money with absolutely no goal whatsoever.

It's not just Obama, this has become a truly bipartisan quagmire that will only result in much more serious problems down the road.

We will see Iraq divided into three regions, The Kurdish, Sunni and Shiite and ar between the Kurds and the Shite who will alley with Iran.

It is also very possible that this mess will lead to Iran getting what they want when it comes to their nuclear program with the United States Britain, France and Germany, considering softening demands that Iran gut its uranium enrichment program, instead floating a new proposal that would allow Tehran to keep almost half of the program intact.

"Assistance to Egypt became a fixture of U.S. foreign policy after the 1979 Israel-Egypt peace treaty, and total aid to the country has topped $1 billion every year since. Before 1970, U.S. aid to Egypt rarely reached $100 million per year. Military aid, which Cairo largely spends on U.S. weapons and other materials, has held steady at $1.3 billion for well over two decades. In fiscal 2012, only four countries received more in U.S. assistance: Israel, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iraq."

We bought peace. We can't afford to buy it anymore

Because Billary was Sec of State and Billy Boy meddled in the middle east the "crisis" will be one of her selling points. It will further seal her election in 2016, it seems to me that Obama is intentionally screwing with any chance of peace in that area of the world.

Anwar Sadat was the perfect example of how diplomacy works. Instead of upsetting the apple cart, like we did in Cuba, to only have it backfire. Start working with legitimate leaders for peaceful resolutions. Only use force when it has a end game, benefits us, and has long term results.

We had two countries that while not allies were no longer a threat to us, and we just had to fuck it up. Libya and Syria, the only way we should have been involved is only when Israel was threatened.

It is damn time that SA, Jordan, and the others fight their own battles, they have the money. We can offer behind scenes assistance like intelligence but nothing more.

Our country is broke, yet Obama keeps dumping more and more money with absolutely no goal whatsoever.

There is one other way that works. We could pay them off, but unfortunately that is not economically feasible for us at this point.

The answer was answered a long time ago by Anwar Sadat.

Sure there's many choices in the middle. None of them work.
