You on the left always scream equal rights and freedom to all men and yet every step of the way you deny those who need it so badly. So only we here in America deserve these inalienable rights that we enjoy." First those 36 million people were under a tyrant for a reason... they failed to fight their own war against their tyrant. Second, after freeing them, both their military and their civilians turned against us as their religious leaders continued to preach violence against the west and the Iraqi's continue to listen to them. Third, If you think that those elections mean a damned thing... you are crazier than I thought. In one election in Iraq, their election system is filled with more fraud than every election that the US has ever held. (deny this and you shoot a massive whole into your own argument for voter ID laws.) Forth, While the left might believe in freedom, equality, ect... for all humans... without a draft and a war tax... all we are going to do is fatten the military industrial complex without actually wanting to get any job done. Unless we hurt to obtain the objective, we will have no reason to obtain that objective. Fifth... their freedom, their equality... was paid for in our blood, not their own. Those Iraqi's who died in the course of our liberation of them... they were cattle who chose to bed down with insurgents... I do not count cattle who will given aid and comfort to those killing my fellow soldiers any consideration nor sympathy. So if you want to go globe trotting to free the impoverished, the enslaved, ect... (insert other words) Then go sign up for the active duty army, sign up as infantry and go fight for people who wouldn't think twice before stoning your daughter to death for having sex before marriage... let alone being raped. I won't send, I won't support the sending of one soldier to defend such animals, either they defend themselves against any opposition... or they can simply die. Syria is the same, they cry out for our help, but in the same breath they demand that anyone not Islamic or Islamic enough for them leave their nation... What do you think this means for the Christians in Syria? Do you really want to send US forces to free a people who have leaders demanding the exile of their own countrymen who worship a different god? I won't, and if you gave a damn about anything but your investments into the military industrial complex... let alone freedom and equality for the poor poor syrians... (insert sad face) You would not support those who allow radicals to preach hate.

Iraq's real growth rate: 9.6% (2011 est.) 0.8% (2010 est.) 4.2% (2009 est.) Last election Turn our 68% of eligable Voters turned out. Oil Production is up 47% over last year and 168% over 2006. Really unproductive. Unemployment rate: 15% (2010 est.) 15.3% (2009 est.) HHHMMMM Matches our true unemployment Rate. I don't understand your train of thought. His own people are trying to kill him, unless you are going to invade his nation and kill him... Your words are empty and meaningless. Most any one leader from the middle east, would eat any and most all of our leaders alive. Most of their leaders have had to kill not only their opposition, but the families of their opposition. Your words are like water rolling off of a duck with infinite shielding from the water. The only thing that matters to them is how willing you are to bath yourself in the blood of innocents.... and I would be willing to bet that we aren't even willing to get out toes wet... that is why we failed to make Iraq a productive nation... in the span of 6 years, why after 11 years, we haven't made Afghanistan a better place to live. Because we do not understand what it takes to lead in uncivilized lands. It takes a willingness to kill the innocent that would horrify the most cold hearted in the western world.

Sign up your children for active duty, open your wallets to pay the war tax or shut the fuck up! You republicans/conservatives/libertarians bitch about balance budgets... but don't want to pay for the wars you are demanding?... This is a gapping and serious failure in your logic processes. You can't run a war on the credit card without raising the debt by leaps and bounds... this is why we have such a massive debt to begin with... sense the 80s, we have been using the nations credit card to conduct R&D for the weapons we bought after 9/11. Guess what? We haven't paid for these two wars sense 9/11.. our children will pay for them... we wont. Who's children are you willing to sacrofice for your peace of mind? Or worse, your arrogance to simply oppose people you don't like, people whom you will never meet half way around the world? No, if we must have war, then I demand that you, the one's calling for war be drafted first, then your children and finally your brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers. We'll hand the lot of you rifles, and ammunition and tell you to run at the enemy and kill them... but don't kill civilians. We'll tell you to patrol the streets, take enemy fire and not return fire because of civilian considerations... Like my father was ordered not to return fire in 2004, despite friends of his being shot on the ground, not twenty feet from him. The driver of his humvee ordered not to move by some officer in a tent, five miles away, watching on a UAV. When you are willing to accept these conditions of war and serve in them... then you can call for war... until then... shout your arrogant, self righteous mouths. If you served in wars prior, or in the military during peace time. You don't know what the face of war is today, you don't know how the ROEs prevent us from first inposing order... You think that it would be like in the movies, where the French simply obeyed the US and allied soldiers... but it won't be. Not a few hours after our soldiers would enter a town or village... the very people we would seek to protect, will plant IEDs and blast our soldiers to the next life. These are not innocent victims, these are people who chose to fight what they thought was injustice... maybe they are right, maybe they are wrong... doesn't matter if we enter the war.. we would be invaders from half way around the world imposing our rule of law on a people as alien to us as the idea of socialism is to you ultra conservatives/capitalist.
