"I wonder if it's because I'm woman. "

"Without question, we need to disarm Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal, murderous dictator, leading an oppressive regime He presents a particularly grievous threat because he is so consistently prone to miscalculation … And now he is miscalculating America’s response to his continued deceit and his consistent grasp for weapons of mass destruction… So the threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real …”

Q. In what circumstances, if any, would the president have constitutional authority to bomb Iran without seeking a use-of-force authorization from Congress? (Specifically, what about the strategic bombing of suspected nuclear sites — a situation that does not involve stopping an IMMINENT threat?)

Obama: The President does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation.

If we launch now, who knows what's at those fixed sites that we targeted?

With all of this posturing, we are just shooting and hoping for the best that we hit something worth while. THIS IS SO DUMB!!

I'm not seeing more than 20% support for engaging Syria.

Looks like Potus is going to do it anyway, says Kerry, if that's what he just actually said!?

We are so Fucked!!

I have no clue where the poll below came from, I am on the Huffington post, and poll after poll shows as majority of Americans opposing the attack.

We are hated that much, why wouldn't he do it and lay the blame on us?

It's illegal for us to attack anyway, so wouldn't this be a perfect opportunity should we do so, to show the world, just how bad we really are?

M

I'm talking about using it on his own country. He would likely become a martyr to those that support him. He has no means to deliver chemicals as a direct hit on the US. He can, kill as many people in his country as possible.
