Are Supreme Court transcripts usually this hilarious?
I read a lot of today's transcript. Great stuff. Just about all of them took this dude Verrili (arguing for the government) apart. Almost all of the justices took him to task. It was great. Did Verrilli think this would just be a cake walk? The justices basically forced him into explaining why the government can force people into THIS commerce under the commerce clause and not others - such as cell phone, burial services, broccoli, cars, etc. Man.. I need to read this more often... |
