One cannot argue with close minded folks like FJ, just indulge them occasionally to expose their simplemindedness.

Dood, either by law a person is guilty or they are not. And in legal terms there is the presumption of innocence. That means a person is innocent until proven guilty.

You are the one arguing the above is wrong. The above has been a long time legal standard. Only a idiot would think considering the standard of law that a person could not be innocent(by law) after being found not guilty.

Take your meds...

I honestly can't believe that people are arguing over the semantics between Innocent vs Not Guilty.

Actually, yes I can. It's the political forum which means that no one can agree on anything. Carry on.

There is no such entity as Cornell University of law

Dood, I contended that "not guilty" is not the same as innocent.

I never contended that "not guilty" is the same as "guilty."

Can you provide a cite that says a "not guilty" is an affirmative finding of innocence?

Can you provide a cite that says a "presumption" of innocence is the same thing as a formal finding of innocence?

Of course you cannot, because it ain't so.

Now back to your chess lesson, pigeon. LOL

But MT you did contend that. Are you now saying someone innocent is guilty?

That you know more than Cornell University of law?

Are you really?

Why would anyone cite something that they do not contend?

Lack of nuance, FJ, typical of simpletons.

Still waiting on that cite that says not guilty is actually guilty?
