TBR are you that dumb? Do you know what they argue in court?

Now tell since you claim to be so smart, why would they not be arguing if a person is innocent? See if you are as smart as you claim?

FJ, you purport to be a former law enforcement officer.

If that is true, I am sure you have spent many hours in courtrooms, probably including seeing many verdicts handed down.

Have you ever, even once, heard a judge or jury pronounce someone innocent?

Cpl and M, I don't have to agree, I have the law. It is MT who is trying to reinvent US law from Canada. As long as he wants to appear stupid, I will continue to point out the legalities.

Since you are so fond of splitting hairs...

There is no such entity as Cornell University of law.

There is, however, a School of Law at Cornell University...

One cannot argue with close minded folks like FJ, just indulge them occasionally to expose their simplemindedness.

Dood, either by law a person is guilty or they are not. And in legal terms there is the presumption of innocence. That means a person is innocent until proven guilty.

You are the one arguing the above is wrong. The above has been a long time legal standard. Only a idiot would think considering the standard of law that a person could not be innocent(by law) after being found not guilty.

Take your meds...

I honestly can't believe that people are arguing over the semantics between Innocent vs Not Guilty.

Actually, yes I can. It's the political forum which means that no one can agree on anything. Carry on.
