I thought Robert said, "clown meat". Funny thing is, that would make a better argumen. Consider this....
*This is why [clown] meat will in time take the place of cattle farms... likely in the coming 50 to 75 years.* I think I'll invest in clown futures. Seriously Robert, you do understand what it means to clone an animal don't you? |

The pot farmers might have figured it out long ago... But now with more advanced tech and a better educated population in general... It could in the coming years prove to be viable. |

You're just now hearing about hydroponics?
It's not currently competitive vs "normal" farming, but in some circumstances may be more practical. Cost will ultimately drive it. |

Hydroponics
This has been around for a very long time. I know many preppers who are raising fish for protein as well and their greens in this way. Nothing new here the pot farmers figured it out many decades ago. |

cloned meat.
ht tp://w ww.livescience.co m/5872-mad-science-growing-meat-animals.ht ml In short, all you need is stem cells which haven't been encoded yet, learn how to properly code them to make the part of the animal which is desired and ensure the proper nutritional supplements are ejected into the meat. Physical build up of the meat can be done by means of technology to work the muscle... Attach it to a artificial limb and have the muscle move as it would on an animal. This in theory could produce a superior quality piece of meat to that which we have today. Again, this tech is likely 50 to 70 years out. |

They have had city cows for years, ya know from those educated farmers you didn't know existed. People cause more pollution than livestock. Farm plants actually reduce pollution.

Fjep:
The reason we have laws in cites about growing cattle, is that they produce a great amount of pollution and unsanitary conditions in an area where populations are already condense and fighting organics... Roaches for example. larger cattle like cows would create conditions which couldn't be manageable inside a city and would require feed on a level that couldn't be grown in a city. This is why clone meat will in time take the place of cattle farms... likely in the coming 50 to 75 years. |
