"Over 80,000 Texans have signed on to secede. "

And it will get far less media attention than 2,000 Whack-a-do Occupy protestors.....because the LEFT sucks!

Every National Guard armory would become a fortress of defense against the aliens of the USA, under orders from the Pentagon and the President, and every rebellious city would have streets patrolled by true-blue American patriots.

Over 80,000 Texans have signed on to secede. That's about 2% of the number who voted for Romney.

Thanks Gina Some folks just don't know what it is to be a Texan. Glad you appreciate it. BTW If anyone Seceeds, it will be Texas leading the list.

Here's part of the quote: For those that think texas pays more into the US and can leave the US without problems, think about this.

1) remove the military bases.

etc.

It's okay, I just posted with a bit of tongue in cheek b/c Texans get teased about this stuff all the time, way before we moved here in '09. It'll all die down just like it did when Bush was elected and all the liberal movie stars did not make good on their promises to leave the country if he was elected. I don't take the secession talk that seriously. But I do love my state, and even more, my country. There is a pride in both. Come on down here: you will see the biggest American flags flying that you've ever seen. Proudly. There's a cockiness, yes. There's also respect and honor and stuff like integrity and valor. Not everyone, of course not. But the feeling is in the air, you see it, you feel it.

Fj, I never take any notice of Bobby Hill. He's about as important and relevant to me as his namesake on King of the Hill. Which, incidently, is set in Texas.
