Did you, or did you not read the treaty? It doesn't appear that you did.

Yeah, because UN sanctions have worked so well in the past..."

Sometimes they do, I for one, would hate to see the US sanctioned by the signatories to the treaty.

"Wrong, had the US signed up to the treaty, the only time UN law would not override US law, if the US law is more protective of the rights of those with disabilities."

That is not what the treaty says. And, as with all of the other human rights treaties we have signed (International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination, and others), the treaties provisions have no effect unless codified by US law.

"Hmmm sanctions to start with?"

Exactly, this is exactly what you see here, a bunch of lower IQ liberals who heard sound bytes and are jumping at another opportunity to vilify and paint the Right as negatively as they possibly can.

Reality though, is that neither Robert, nor Sardukar have read the treaty, furthermore, I'm willing to bet, that even if they attempted, Bobby doesn't have what it takes to comprehend it, and Sardukar is going to need a dictionary to help him out, perhaps at some point he can figure out how silly this thread truly is, doubtful though.

It's like that lady with the Plastic face said a few short years ago..... " We have to pass this bill , so we can see what's in it....."

Still haven't read the treaty, eh? I mean why should you read the that treaty, when it's just intellectually easier to insult Republicans, it's en vogue these days by the lower in IQ of the generally intelligent Left.

Sedu:

A sanction can be placed against any nation for any reason. The nation needs not sign any treaty.
