Just: 1) The banks needed no help from the government, they willingly gave out those loans. 2) at any point in time, the banks could have folded up shop and said that this would destroy the economy. Instead the banks took any incentive offered and thus are just as guilty. (don't know about you, but it didnt matter how many kids did what, if what I did was wrong... I was punished.) 3) I'll take your guns and raise you a MOAB. You and your fat bastard buddies wouldn't last 30 days in a civil war half as bad as what Syria is going through right now. So save the bevodo of the armed American... Anyone who has served in the armed forces knows that no number of civilians can win vs a military fully willing to protect its nation form domestic enemies... Which you would become.

Either you don't want it to make sense, or you do not wish to use credical thinking skills. Conservative values are to not over spend, yet we do this to no end with the DoD. Worst yet, you conservatives promote this unchecked, unbalanced expenatures. Conservative values say to allow business to fail and to stay out of the business of others when it isn't concerning you. Nice statement... Impossible to deliver on with big business... What they do affects me. When a major bank fails, the markets go into a panic and the prices of everything rises. Why? Because the bank has its hands down everyone else's pockets. From oil producers, to the small business down the street. From the tractor manufactor, to the farmer who is barely scratching out a living and is underwater. How do we stop this? You prevent banks from becoming so large in the first place. You prevent one company from buying another. You break up existing mega companies so that if any one falls, a dozen other companies can catch the pieces without affecting the markets. But in so doing, few if any of these small companies will have the ability to compete with Chinese companies, let alone the mega companies of other 1st world nations. It is because of this complexity in the new world, that capitalism will die off and be replaced by socialism and maybe even one day a form of communism. On a micro scale, capitalism works best... On a larger scale however, capitalism is too impersonal for human societies to remain stable enough to not break up.

But I know what they aren't and anyone wanting anything without paying for it isn't a conservative. These wars are the prime example. No one from the right has made demands for a war tax, let alone paying in the blood of our children with a draft... But some from the left have made this demand or at the least have alluded to doing this. Having to pay for the damage that monopolies create isn't a conservative ideal... But you righties won't break up our monopoly companies... Thus to maintain civility in our population and prevent desperation from starting food riots... That is exactly what the government does with our social services. So you may pay for these social Services by the loss of capitalism, or by making business small again and able to provide for the people... Yes, you won't be competitive on the world markets... Not when every other nation on earth has turned to socialist/communist ideals where business is concerned... And sublament their companies with the people's money. Face facts, you can't be the kind of conservatives that the right wants, because the right wants a return to simple days which never existed. Even during the 1800s, companies and government were tied together at the hip. Companies who were located inside a city or constrained by other property owners, petitioned for imminent domain from the government... The rail roads were a big one for this. Want to go back further? To the original signing of the constitution? International trade prevents this kind of world view from becoming a reality... You wouldn't sell a thing to other nations, because your businesses would be too small to compete.

User Details are only visible to members.	The: Real conservatives would demand that the US would have paid for the wars we now fight with war taxes... Or other means of paying as we go... Not the nations credit card... Not for wars of choice. Real conservatives wouldn't allow corporations ti grow into monopolies that destroy the economy when they fall... So to allow the corporation to collapse without being bailed out by the government. Real conservatives would know that am economy is strongest from the bottoms up, not the top down and thus wouldn't make life easier for the top, but rather the bottom. Real conservatives know that when your base is so rotten, so vain, so filled with hate... There is. I saving the party.

User Details are only visible to members.	So ghost exactly how can we ignore conservatism and survive with debt like this? Sobering thought came to me while here the fingerlakes in Ny, driving down rt 14 that runs beside senaca lakes 38 mile length .The lake approx 3 miles wide deepest of the finger lakes at 630ft holds approx half the water in all the finger lakes,in gallons it is 4.2 trillion.Our national debt will surpass the quantity of water in gallons of all these big lakes this year. Is there no end to the credit keep in mind we already had one credit downgrade.
