Original Starting post for this thread:
I'd be genuinely interested in hearing from the people who consider themselves strong advocates of gun rights. Do you think people diagnosed with serious mental health issues* should be allowed to possess guns? And a slightly different question, do you or don't you think they have a constitutionally protected right to possess guns?

Honestly I'd prefer to hear just yes or no answers at first before any debate, but that's up to you.

Yes or no, should they be able to possess? Yes or no, are they constitutionally entitled to possess?

*For purposes of the question, assume "serious mental health issues" means anything that has a propensity for irrational violence. If you think that definition should be stricter or looser, feel free to explain.

You sure it was a dream, and not a bad trip?

Yeah, I had a handful of trash that it would have been nice to get rid of. I did not feel like compacting the trash in the bin with my hand, though.

Last visit to this gas station, I noticed the thing was gone. Poor mice. Must have been good while it lasted.

When your dreams go into reruns, it's time to get up.

At a gas station I saw a "solar compacting" trash receptacle. It was packed full. I looked inside, and it was full of mice.

Weird. I didn't dream about it but for some reason thought about it last night. Funny convo, until RH and Fj took off on some long argument about proper trash compactor operation and dumpster placement.

"those weight-sensitive cash registers"

Amazing you brought that up. I had that come up in a dream last night

Actually, we could pay for it just by fucking up the software in those weight-sensitive cash registers. Trick them into thinking they were flush, while we milk them to pay for drum rolls.
