I've been absent here for awhile - partially because I spent a few days in Cozumel with an old familiar friend, partially because work has been hopping (and fun), partially because, as I said before, we're at a point where there are two sets (or more) of facts, and dialogue becomes a screaming match with no chance of commonality. I leave offering the testimony of William Odom in front of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee last week. Odom was head of the NSA under Reagan. "The president stated three war aims clearly and repeatedly: * the destruction of Iraqi WMD; * the overthrow of Saddam Hussein; and * the creation of a liberal democratic Iraq. The first war aim is moot because Iraq had no WMD. The second was achieved by late Spring 2003. Today, people are waking up to what was obvious before the war -- the third aim has no real prospects of being achieved even in ten or twenty years, much less in the short time anticipated by the war planners."

User Details are only visible to members.	No, actually a large amount of Casino workers are not unionized. The unions have been trying for years to get Casinos under the union, but as a whole, most are not. You will find "speciality's" within certain Casino's union, like the Culinary Workers, but most Dealers, Security, Observation etc are not union.

User Details are only visible to members.	Lucky, Yes, there are Unions in Nevada. It seems most people I talk to speak highly of their union. On the other hand, I have met a small few who "off the record" complain about union tactics.

User Details are only visible to members.	Sen I think the majority of white male democrats are union workers, and blue collar guys. I don't think that the majority of this group will vote for Hillary. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- I believe those that are registered Democrats will vote for her in the Primary. In the national election you may be right. We will have to wait and see. My Brother In Law is a big wig in the New York State school system. The school teachers unions seem to love her, as well as many of the dock unions and tool and dye unions. I am unsure how that may or may not translate outside New York, but I know there has always been questions, suspicion and periodic Justice Department Investigations into Union Reps "pressuring" their members to vote a specific way. I probably just pissed off the Union Workers.

Except that Hillary's camp doesn't seem to have had anything to do with trying to label the school Obama went to as a madrassah. That was purely a hit job by the right wing media. Hillary's cutthroat, but she's also smart enough to know where the third rail is.
