Original Starting post for this thread:
That is what someone of sound mind would say when they see the middle left/right to extreme left/right bicker about gun control, income equality/inequality and shared wealth.

Apes use blunt force to achieve what they want. That is what a ban is. Ignorance of the reality in which they live. Similarly ignorant is the Ape which thinks that it must have it's security blanket. (look to what happens when you try to remove a security blanket from a grown ape... It isn't pretty)

How does a handler get the ape to give up the blanket? You reassure, you make the Ape understand that it doesn't have to be afraid. It is hard work, sometimes taking hours.

These shootings like newtown aren't like a random act of violence committed by regular criminals, they are the unattended pot filled with oil boiling over and the primal fear of the left is to ban the use of oil in cooking while the primal fear of the right is to shoot holes into the pot.

We left the mentally ill unattended. We as a nation caused Newtown. It wasn't the weapon which was used, it wasn't the lack of security guards which would always fall into a sense of complacency. (even the best will become complacent after a few hours... It is animal nature and to deny this is to deny reason.)

There are so many indicators as to the approaching collapse of our civilization. To list every one, I would need to white a medium size novel. Each indicator in of itself isn't a problem, it isn't something to fear, but to ignore each indicator as they light up is something to fear.

Our civilization is modeled on Romes, yet we ignore every mistake Rome made. The right is correct to fear the increased powers the President is obtaining, to dismiss it out of hand is to consider it a single indicator...

The congress still possesses the means to fire the president... Like a nuclear reactor on the verge of a total melt down... We think we still have control because it hasn't gone over the red line yet.

The left however possesses a good reason to fear weapons in the wrong hands and keep looking to one man to lead the whole group. While this is not a bad idea in a emergency... it is when we are demanding that his actions be those of ignorance, ignoring the switch board of why there are an increased number of people losing their minds and doing bad things.

The debt problem of the US is caused by useless wars which do not fill the coffers of the US. War for profit doesn't work, war for the profit of only the top leads to Rome. An military which must expand and conquer new nations so to pillage them and outsource work to where it is cheaper.

This decreases the demand for products in Rome as the Romans can no longer find employment. But loving Rome, they refuse to leave it and follow the jobs and work for slave wages where a ever decreasing number of people are profiting from the work.

Instead we devolve into lesser minded animals and begin to tear each other apart, it started with politics in Rome and ended with the Empire splitting into two. In our case, it will be Democrat vs Republican.

Neither side will accept that they have problems with their ideals and refuse to compromise with their ideals. Thus we will fall.

I stopped reading after "That is what someone of sound mind would say..."

Hopefully I don't need to explain that any further.
