Oops, forgot to say that I couldn't find the breakdown for the stats you posted- other than that I found they were the total of firearm related incidents- from the anti gun site you referenced.

Outdoors, once again you use statistics that don't tell the whole story. You posted the number of gun deaths in WY, but conveniently left out how many were negligent (i.e. accidental) and how many were murders.
In 2004 WY had a total of 11 homicides, of which 27% were by a firearm, 27% were by a knife, and the remainder were by "other" weapons/means. You are typical of the media- presenting "facts" that favor your opinion and conveniently ignoring the entire story. |

"WE THE PEOPLE of the United States, in order to from a more perfect Union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish the Constitution for the United States of America." I wonder how many of those separate clauses will be disputed by advocates of Wayne's NRA World in the next four years? Domestic tranquility, common defense seem like valid reasons to limit the sale and ownership of assault weapons? |
