perfect,
To clarify exactly my position on marriage for you. I think marriage is an antiquated social contract that serves no purpose in society. I'm opposed to marriage in any form (gay/striaght/ marrying your dog), understanding that I can't abolish marriage, I believe anyone should be able to marry whom they chose. To clarify further.... I'm opposed to ANY MARRIAGE. |

I agree destin,
here in FL as I'm sure you know, to get married, you go to the court house get a marriage lic, I think it cost 70 dollars, sign a form saying you read the marriage handbooka nd go to any public notary. |

Well Scotty you got that right. What they need to do is have a waiting period of 6 months and make it harder to get married in the first place.

It's a knife that cuts both ways. Yeah people can afford a divorce that maybe couldn't before. But it's human nature to take the easy way out of anything and not take personal responsiblity. |

Every state but S Dakota that is and 6 states attempting to repeal. I do not see that as having anything to do with the divorce rate. Would you rather the people be locked in mortal combat for 3 years trying to get a divorce? To spare the pain, cost and complications that could hurt the children.
But then as the article and studies say it has increased the divorce rate....well yeah now people can afford one that could not before. |

all 50 states are no fault states. WOmen have been working since ww2. Divorce rates spiked with the advent of no fault divorce. |
