Original Starting post for this thread:
New Bill From NYC Mayor Bloomberg Would Require Retailers To Keep Tobacco Products Out Of Sight

By Evan Bleier, Mon, March 18, 2013 New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is announcing legislation that will ban tobacco products from being seen by customers in retail stories.

The reasoning behind the bill is that by keeping the tobacco products out of sight, youths are less likely to start smoking. If the bill is passed, NYC would be first city in the country to have such a ban.

The new law would require that tobacco products be concealed in cabinets, drawers or be placed behind curtains or beneath counters. The only time that the products would be seen is when an adult is making a purchase or during the process of restocking.

The bill will be split up into two parts, according to The Wall Street Journal. The second part of the bill would combat illegal cigarette smuggling. It is believed that both bills will be introduced in the City Council on Wednesday.

This isn’t the first controversial bill that Mayor Bloomberg has introduced recently. He has also attempted to ban the sale of plus-size sodas in the city.

While these nimrods are squirming and spinning, the point is only an idiot thinks Bloombergs laws are any more intrusive than laws in those freedom loving Red States where they tell you what. You can and can't say to your Dr, what you can do in your own home with adults and for e you to be raped before you have a medical procedure. To call them frauds and hypocrites would be an insult to frauds and hypocrites everywhere

As you say PP WE the people voted!!! Constitutional Amendment Virginia Marriage Amendment (2006) also referred to as the Marshall-Newman Amendment passed with 57.1% of the vote on 2006 November 7, during the 2006 general elections, making it so that only unions between one man and one woman would be legally recognized, and that no other unions could be formed conferring the same rights, or benefits of marriage.

When the state pushed back against its repeal, clearly it was more than just cosmetic This is also the state where a women is violated with a plastic wand by law (raped) before she is allowed to have a legal procedure

Sed no gun direction just pointing out that PP cares so much about life but he sold illegal guns to street thugs. I wonder how many guns he sold were used to kill people.I started this thread to point out Bloomberg and his nanny attitude toward grown people in a large city.

The only thing that became legal this morning was for me to assfuck 16 year olds. Not what you are claiming.

You are stretching this to the point of outright lying.

And as "someone" (me) pointed out the law under challenge right now had to do with minors and nothing to do with anything between consenting adults.
