Mark~Stalin, Pol Pot, and other communists put people like Robert in the fields to farm by hand. Bobby may be in for a big surprise should the wind ever blow his direction.

Robert will never learn. He is a true liberal socialist. To Robert there is no such thing as earning anything. It will be provided to him by government, from the labors of people who actually work. The money will be taken away from his fellow countrymen and given to him; at no cost to him. Robert can't do math. But for some people math comes easy. The people who make a living by doing jobs that require math make more money than he does. To Robert it is not fair people who are good at math get to keep the extra money that they make. So government will take that easily made extra money and give it to Robert. So he can live at the same lifestyle as they do.

Good our bull was friendly. He would follow you like a dog, problem was he would pester you at the pond while trying to fish.

Good sounds like we grew up the same way. Robert needs to learn that hard work pays off in the end.

I worked farm fiields in my younger days. Also milked cows. We caught insects/frogs/mice to feed the snakes we caught- all by hand. Lived to tell about it. I don't remember what I was paid. I didn't care- it was fun. Got to drive trucks on the road before I was old enough to have a license.

Graduated HS in the top 5% of a class of 400+, went on to college, now own/run a business.

Some of us learned to not drive in the beans, close the gate, don't mess with the bull, don't stand behind the horse and went on to make a pretty good living.

OK, so there was the cute farmer's daughter thing, whereby we learned that hay is not actually good to roll in.

WOW So now we when we are younger age are told and taught we do not have to work with our hands or get dirty? Thats one big problem with todays youth,,I was raised and taught if you want things in life,,You work for those things,,,Plain and simple. I was also taught if its not yours,,,Its not yours,,,Do not ever take from anyone,,,,i.e. STEAL....

Mark:

Ah yes, kids working fields where by they are exposed to all types of chemicals (chemicals used on the food before it is washed) many different kinds of insects and snakes (some of which can kill you).

It would be far better in my view to sit that kid down in front of a book and have them write reports on the books during their summer break, rather than have them exposed to those risk above.

Expanding their minds, so that they can beat their competition in entering college and obtaining a career which will pay the bills.

Mark, that would not be enough for Robert. He would have to work with his hands. Remember he was raised to work with his mind not his hands. So he has a hard row to hoe ahead of him.

Robert: Do you not know a family of four can earn about $10.000.00 a month working the fields during the summer season... You just showed again what an idiot you are.

Nice “and they all lived happily ever after” idea. Now for a reality check on the behavior of people the world over...

You walk into a public restroom and it’s a filthy mess. If you clean the whole restroom after you pee, the next guy’s just going to pee all over the floor and not clean it up, figuring who's going to notice a little pee on the floor. The guy after him will pee all over the wall and the floor and not clean it up, figuring there;s alraedy a little pee on the floor, so what's a little more gonna hurt. The third guy will come along with explosive diarrhea and crap all over the floor, wall, ceiling, not to mention the toilet seat. he won't clean it up, because, well its' such a damn mess and he wants to sneak out before someone sees what he did.

The solution- hire someone to watch the restroom, armed with an assault rifle, whose job it is to make sure people clean up after themselves. Only then will the restroom be left as good or better for the next guy.

It’s just the way people are.

Cue Robert to explain how each restroom will need 4 security guards positioned at startegic locations because otherwise someone with a knife can take one guard, use him as a shield...

Which will bring a response that the 4 security guards will be paid at minimum wage because of the budget... Which brings us back on topic. Thanks Outdoors, for getting the thread back on topic.

It's just the way the Fora works.
