Founded to provide a “philosophical home within the Democratic Party for the progressive community” Co-founded and led mostly by activists from failed 2004 presidential campaign of Cleveland Congressman Dennis Kucinich, a leader of the radical Progressive Caucus Helped install Howard Dean as head of Democratic National Committee Progressive Democrats of America (PDA), founded in July 2004, is clear about its mission: “We dedicate ourselves to beginning the long, patriotic, nonviolent, and ultimately unstoppable process of transforming the Democratic Party." PDA reflects the far left wing of the Democratic Party and boasts that it helped install Howard Dean as Chairman of the Democratic National Committee (DNC).

"We believe that the greatest need of our nation," says PDA's Progressive Plan to Change America, "is to redirect the resources of our government from destruction to creation, from war to peace, from military spending to social spending, from sickness to health, from selfish desires to universal needs. The future of humanity and our planet are at stake."

The core of activists who founded and currently run Progressive Democrats of America came from the failed 2004 presidential campaign of Ohio Congressman Dennis Kucinich, a leader of the radical Progressive Caucus. PDA's co-founder and National Director is Tim Carpenter, who in 2004 was Deputy National Campaign Manager for Kucinich’s presidential run. Carpenter describes himself as "a social and political activist who, for more than 30 years, has worked for causes such as nuclear disarmament, peace and justice, abolishing the death penalty, defending the homeless, and fighting for clean elections and campaign finance reform."

PDA's Political Director is Kevin Spidel, who was National Field Director for the 2004 Kucinich campaign. Prior to that, he worked as Western Field Coordinator and "grassroots trainer" for Amnesty International. Spidel was co-founder of the leftist group Progressive Vote, which merged with PDA in fall 2004.

Should Democratic Party merge with Communist Party?

No doubt such a question will immediately raise the hackles of those who belong to the Democratic Party, but I believe this is a valid question considering the Communist Party USA and the Communist Party of Red China endorsed John Kerry for president in the last pretend election. They wouldn't endorse him unless they felt he would continue to further the agenda for world communism via the official Democratic Party.

The Democratic Party touts it's the party of the working man. Their national platform endorses the toxic and destructive practice of sodomy and encourages women to commit sexual abominations with each other. Their national platform, led by a certifiable maniac named Howard Dean, endorses and encourages women to fight to "protect their reproductive rights" by killing their unborn babies.

Since the turn of the 20th century, the Democratic Party has worked diligently to rob its membership of the fruits of their labor via all the unconstitutional acts passed under FDR and in subsequent administrations. Back then, before the masters who pull the strings of the White House and Congress bought up all major newspapers in this country in order to control the flow of information, some were sounding the alarm. To quote Hillary Clinton, “We must stop thinking of the individual and start thinking about the whole of society” Now, read the following quotes and see if you can guess who said them.

“It is thus necessary that the individual should finally come to realize that his own ego is of no importance in comparison with the existence of the nation, that the position of the individual is conditioned solely by the interests of the nation as a whole.”

“All our lives we fought against exalting the individual, against the elevation of the single person, and long ago we were over and done with the business of a hero, and here it comes up again: the glorification of one personality. This is not good at all.”

Universal health care is not the solution, and in fact, can lead to even more problems. We have over 300,000,000 people in this country. Most European nations have no more than 60,000,000. Imagine how high taxes would have to be raised for an adequate universal health care system to be implemented in the United States. It seems like the Democrats look for any excuse to raise taxes. Now, another thing you have to remember is that the Dems. believe Universal Health Care is working great in Europe. Well, not so much. Did you know that there are people who actually come over to the United States for health care because their government cannot provide for their needs? I agree that health care is a problem in this country, but universal health care is not the solution.

I am not saying that Democrats are communists or socialists, but I am saying that their platform includes some very socialist things; more government control, universal health care and socialized medicine, and the denouncing of the idea of individual sovereignty, sounds pretty socialist to me.

By the way, the first quote was said by Adolf Hitler. The second quote was said by Vladimir Lenin. Don’t be so surprised, it’s true.

Communist Party, USA Sides With Democrats

WorldNetDaily reported that the Communist Party USA is throwing its support behind the most left-leaning Democratic presidential candidates. In its publications, the communists have high praise for Senator John Kerry, Bob Graham, Howard Dean, Al Sharpton, and Carol Moseley Braun. They have the highest praise, however, for Ohio Congressman Dennis Kucinich, who is co-chairman of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, a group of nearly 60 socialist legislators in the U.S. House.

Kucinich's co-chair of this caucus is California Congresswoman Barbara Lee, who is a longtime friend of communist radical Angela Davis. Lee also served as a leader of the Committees of Correspondence, a group that splintered off from the Communist Party USA in 1991. Angela Davis served with Lee in this effort.

Traditional Values Coalition has previously published details about Dennis Kucinich's bizarre spiritual ideas. In our July/August TVC newsletter we published this story

What the liberal mind is passionate about is a world filled with pity, sorrow, neediness, misfortune, poverty, suspicion, mistrust, anger, exploitation, discrimination, victimization, alienation and injustice. Those who occupy this world are “workers,” “minorities,” “the little guy,” “women,” and the “unemployed.” They are poor, weak, sick, wronged, cheated, oppressed, disenfranchised, exploited and victimized. They bear no responsibility for their problems. None of their agonies are attributable to faults or failings of their own: not to poor choices, bad habits, faulty judgment, wishful thinking, lack of ambition, low frustration tolerance, mental illness or defects in character. None of the victims’ plight is caused by failure to plan for the future or learn from experience. Dr. Lyle H. Rossiter

Rossiter says the kind of liberalism being displayed by the two major candidates for the Democratic Party presidential nomination can only be understood as a psychological disorder.

dzzy, well since conservatives fuck too, I think you are all wet..lol

Facts is the communist/socialist party of America is taking over the democratic party and the Republicans are moving toward the old Democratic Party, so there is a liberalization of all political parties. It is a shame but until common sense rules and a true conservative champion emerges, we will just have to live with it...anything though is better than what the lib's are trying to do and that is socialize America.

And Liberals complain about Bush taking "Civil Liberties" away. Redirecting money from the pockets of some and putting it in the pockets of others in the name of Universal Need sounds pretty Authoritarian to me. Liberty is the God given right to spend your money on whatever the fuck you want and if you pay your taxes you should be able to leave all of your taxed savings to who or whatever you want to when you die. Liberals don't believe in that. They want to double tax the wealthy. Liberals are telling us how we should live every day. The people to worry about are those who want to tax you for drinking beer, smoking cigarettes, eating at Mcdonalds and buying "luxury items", which is open to interpretation. There values fly in the face of true personal Liberty. I rather live in a country that gives you a CHOICE of whether or not to value greed or charity. That's my America, and I'd fight anyone who would try to change it.
