Do you want to know why you lost the vote? Here are some things to consider. The woman vote... Arguably the most important vote. Abortion/Contraception. Rape = gift from god. Now most will focus on the abortion aspect, but I actually feel that it wasn't the abortion, as you can have a debate in that regards without losing all sight of science and logic. (it is difficult, but you can.) No, you republicans lost the woman vote because of the extreme wing nuts on contraception and rape being a gift from god. Basic science disproves both claims that banning contraception or rape being a good thing. Real contraception prevents pregnancy, rape simply isn't good ever and science hasn't evolved far enough (likely won't in our life times) to replace abortion with artificial womb tech. Want to save lives of the unborn? Learn to compromise and accept a smaller amount of deaths by providing welfare for these single mothers. Free daycare for working mothers or mothers attending high school or college, (namely single mothers) reduces the need for abortion to be an option. Provide a means for rape victims to give up that bundle of hell, pain and suffering to the state without questions. (I said option, no command or force the mother to keep the child.) Do these things and you will reduce the number of abortions per year. If you aren't willing to pony up the cash for your ideals, then you aren't really believing in them to start with.

You chose to beat sympathy out of us, sympathy for the slave driver is the first thing to go. We cannot pay our bills and provide for our children while keeping each other employed by buying things... Yet you live in homes which you can fit the common mans home into three to five times or more. Do you not see the reason why you aren't being listened to? You do not know humility and the lacking of humility is what causes the rebellions by the masses to occur. Will there be those of the masses who want everything given to them? Yes, but they are without means to doing for themselves. However mistaking people like me for those who want things handed to them is why you cannot understand how far into the loony bin you have fallen. People like me have no problem working for what we want, but we will not work like slaves. If you worked yourself like a slave, that is great... Do not expect everyone to work so hard to be the top, not everyone have a desire to be the top. To make the game into one where either you are the top or you are shit is to make a game in which you the top will suffer the loss of all control, pushing the public towards socialism and communism. This is your folly brought on by your arrogance of thinking that everyone wants what you have and that you have no responsibility to the public. The public just voted that you do have a responsibility to the public. Its called obama care, its called we elected people like Obama and when 2014 comes around, expect to lose more power if all you can do is double down on your rhetoric.

In the white communities, you lost the woman vote because of the above and in the minority communities which are mostly located in the cities... you lost their vote because of the above. The cities dictate the direction of the government, accept this fact and learn to adapt to it. Change your mind set, learn to bend before the weight of the nation snaps you like a twig.

This is why their communities outnumber our own in a short order of time. The white man, the majority in the US chases the dollar like a blind dog chasing a sent... We won't see the cliff and will leave the pack. The minorities in this nation are raised to put family first. (family being the whole family.) Simply bitching at them to be more white isn't going to gain their vote. You need to adapt your thinking to their own, you need to bring jobs to them or accept that you will not get their vote. The job of the government is to obey the people and they are the people.
