Nonsemnse" First you assume that there is good in war? This is your first mistake. There is only action and reaction. The Palestinians and their Arab friends chose to attack Israel. Israel couldn't destroy all of their enemies, so they reduced the ones that they could as far as they chose to do so. War between multiple nations always sucks worst for the nations closest to the side who pushed back and brought the war to a close... In this case the Palestinians who failed to have a nation due to their own stupidity. Their terrorist (Palestinians) Chose suicide bombings, rocket attacks and any other type of terror tactic to continue the fighting... There for the Israelis had no other option but to lay the bitch slapping that they did onto said groups. Children and civilians were used as human shields by the terrorist who chose to continue the war with Israel. When you are being attacked, you cannot allow your enemy to attack from the safety of anything... You shoot through it or you will be shot... This is a very simple rule of life and anyone who would pick a fight with a more powerful force and then cower behind civilians is the bad guy.

PP, now I see it, you claim that the European Jews descended from obscure Turkish clans that picked-up Judaism on their migration to Eastern Europe, when the Muslims and Christians would not have them. Are you joking? This is bunk on so many levels. Jewish migration to Europe is documented as early as the 1st, 2nd and 3rd centuries, consistent with the destruction of the second temple by the Romans during the time of Christ. Christianity was not even a permitted religion until around 313 and Islam did not exist until the 600's. You get your history from people who have only been literate a few hundred years. I will take mine from a people who have enjoyed near-universal male literacy for over a thousand years. The Jews in Babylon were prolific writers. Their works date back to the 500's B.C. According to your theory, these Jews were still of Nubian and Ethiopian ancestry - as was Solomon and David before them and Jesus after them. It is very strange that these Jews left their Nubian/Ethiopian roots out of their history books. You raise some fair criticisms of Likud, and you are right to dismiss any justification for modern Israel on the grounds of a divine promise. But your theories of ancient Jewish history border on the absurd.

There are probably a thousand news stories and analyst pieces pressing the same points. Fundamentally, debate and discourse is more vibrant in Israel and the West than it is elsewhere in the middle east, which is why the Israeli government is susceptible to frequent change while regimes controlled by Arab despots of Muslim extremists press the same old, tired, anti-Semitic, scapegoat propoganda that accomplishes nothing positive. Your rant about the lack of a Jewish claim to their homeland misses a pretty major point. Jewish individuals and Jewish worldwide institutions bought and paid for most of the inhabited lands that formed the original partition. They tendered their money to willing sellers. Previously, most of the area was uninhabited desert. The Jews tilled. The Jews irrigated. The Jews planted. With a few exceptions, it was shit land. I have no regard for any Jewish claim of a Biblical right to specific land. But please do not rely on bogus theories to deny that the holy land is where the Jews lived before the diaspora. Their evictions at the hands of Romans, Assyrians and Babylonians are well-documented. For about 2000 years without interruption the Jews have prayed for their return to Jerusalem. Again I ask, if the European Jews did not come from the middle east, what was their origin?

Someone should ask him about the Fogel family, it is without a doubt that he'd bend over backwards to justify the slaughter of a sleeping 2 month old, a couple of toddlers and both of their parents!

Nobody wants their name or company or what have you, called anti-semitc for saying anything near what you said. Correct, and I so admire president Obama for being one of the few American leaders in our history to begin to address the issue in a balanced way and praise Likuds war crimes and atrocities . Even the people of Israel and beginning to come back around. Eight years of Likud rule has brought them noting but war, death and the scorn of the international community.

Party: That 4 year old and her family died because her father, older brothers, uncles and anyone else 15 and older (because teens can move ammunition and shoot) failed to fight against Hamas and other groups when they took over. These terrorist groups have sense 1948 chosen to fight a war against Israel, they chose to be violent, raise their children to be violent, live with and amongst the civilian population. The blame for the cluster bombs are and ever shalt be with the civilian population. As is the same for all nations across not only this world but all worlds. The buck doesn't stop with the leaders of a nation, it stops with the people of a nation.

Divine mandate and Bronze age myth is THE only claim Israel, and 95% of modern day Jews for that matter, has to land in the middle east. Not history, not linage, not DNA, not tradition. The "homeland" of the modern Jew would be the Asian steppe, and the homeland of the decedents of Moses would be Ethiopia. Having said that, Israel is a reality and has a right to exist, but not as a rogue terrorist Apartheid state with 2/3rds of it's territory occupied land
