If goes through, which I personally believe that it will. Permits the palestinians to sign up to the ICC. In my opinion, if this is the path that the palestinians will choose, they will make a grave mistake. While I wish them the utmost luck in gaining the elevation, I would hope that they exercise caution, and slowly proceed with negotiating peace on equal footing with Israel.

Tell me bobchik, why on earth would I bother wasting my time, when in the past I tried again and again, in dozens of attempts, by providing evidence, citations, names of books, factual information that could be easily verified, you thumbed your nose at it, and posted more idiotic drivel? Europe would cut trade with Isreal if they did such a thing. So Isreal needs a reason big enough to keep europe silent about what it does. A chemical, biological or nuclear attack would be such a incident. If as most all of us know, Iran is arming Hamas. Than a war between Iran and Isreal means Hamas is a back door threat, one you should stomp put before engaging with Iran. Think of it like this, you are in a fight with five people. Do you target the biggest guys first and lose energy when engaging the smaller ones? Or do you kill the smaller ones first and have more energy for the fight with the bigger guys? Typically if you use extreme force on the smaller guys, the bigger guys will reconsider attacking or continuing their attack. They have other enemies who would strike them even if they win this fight... They are wounded and ripe for another to strike. If Isreal simply scorched earth the gaza strip day one if an NBC attack, Iran wouldn't do anything as their military might relies upon preception of strength. Remember that Iran doesn't do so well in night operations (no Arab force does) as such that is when israel will fly bombers and turn night to day.

User Details are only visible to members.	Obama needs allies, there for he needs Europe. The days when a single nation can do as they please are long sense gone. So please catch up with the times. Until Israel is hit with a chmeical, biological or nuclear weapon, Nothing meaningful can be achieved because our own allies would block our actions in the political arena. Now once a missile or two strikes Israel, no one would be able to blame Israel for wiping the Gaza strip out. Turning to Iraq and taking its air fields and then striking Iran. My only hopes it hat the bastardization of tanks that Iraq is building isn't powerful enough to be a threat to Israel. (The body of a russian tank, but the turret of our Abrams)

User Details are only visible to members.	Iran wants to be the leader of the Shi'a branch of Islam. Though not an Arabic nation, this is what unites them with the Shi'a Arabs. By destabilizing the region (Sending 9,000 National Guards to Syria to help the Assad regime)the attention is on Syria. By sending rockets to Gaza via Sudan, Egypt and into Gaza, the focus is on the Israeli/Palestinian conflict instead of Iran's nuclear aspiration. Obama is snoozing on this one for sure.
