I love how Panetta was catapulted to Israel right after Romney's visit, and the tightening of Iranian sanctions, I'd say Barry is worried, particularly after Adelson pledged $100MM to Romney's campaign ;).

In the Latter Days, God holds the Eternal Flush poker hand.

Will he or won't he flush the Mediterranean Sea of religous conflict between the vain-glorious nation of Israel, or the conflict-habituated nations of Ishmaelite?

Discerning Bible Baptist Convention representatives of the racist Confederate States of America need know.

That thin Jew line on Long Island has an adventure clothing outfitter to provide Bob Marley Jamaican hairbraids, zip-line sky-surfing baggies, and painted toenail services for racy Lubavitchers.

God loves zip-line Lubavitchers with painted toenails.

JERUSALEM — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Wednesday that U.S. statements of solidarity with Israel and its assurances that military strikes are still an option aren't working to convince Iran that the West is "serious about stopping them" from developing nuclear weapons.

Standing with a visiting Leon Panetta, Netanyahu dismissed the U.S. defense chief's counsel to give diplomacy more time to halt Iran's nuclear program.

"Right now the Iranian regime believes that the international community does not have the will to stop its nuclear program," Netanyahu said at the prime minister's residence in Jerusalem. "This must change, and it must change quickly because time to resolve this issue peacefully is running out."

Earlier Wednesday, at an Israeli defense site south of Tel Aviv, Panetta stood beside Defense Minister Ehud Barak to declare that the Obama administration is serious about the possibility of eventually resorting to military force against Iran. But he said all non-military measures must be exhausted first.

Barak sounded as unconvinced as the prime minister, saying he appreciated U.S. support but added that the probability of international sanctions ever compelling Iran to give up its nuclear program is "extremely low."

Netanyahu's and Barak's statements, taken together, dramatized the growing strains in U.S.-Israeli relations over what strategy to pursue with Iran.

Tehran has said repeatedly that its nuclear work is for civilian energy uses only, but suspicions that the Islamic republic will use enriched uranium for nuclear weapons have resulted in international sanctions and saber-rattling from Israel, which perceives a nuclear Iran as an existential threat. The United States has discouraged Israel from a unilateral, pre-emptive military strike on Iran.

Panetta on Wednesday said repeatedly that "all options," including military force, are on the table to stop Iran, should sanctions and diplomacy – the preferred means of persuasion – ultimately fail.

He said he still hopes Iran will see that negotiations are the best way out of this crisis.

However, Panetta said, "If they continue and if they proceed with a nuclear weapon ... we have options that we are prepared to implement to ensure that that does not happen."

sedu:

This is for many reasons, namely amongst them are the fact that Islam is the second almost the largest religion world wide. As a result of this, and how the majority of the world is in what we call the 3rd world or developing nation status... The people will follow their religious leaders every word.. kinda how red necks and republicans follow their religious leaders and republican radical's every word.

It is simply easier to obey someone who sounds like they are more educated than you, then to develop ideals mostly on your own.

this why I will never read a book written by any political individual. I do not wish to be swayed by any sides ideology, but rather through discussions with people. As a result, I do not fit into the far left's ideals, nor will I fit into the conservitives. I am center leaning left, I argue for more left ideas because they are a united idea... built upon community rather than rape and pillaging which are the rights ideals.

Back to the topic.

The second reason for the anti-semit ideals growing within the more developed nations is that we feel sorry for the poor palestinians, and admittedly we do not understand the level of hate that the palestinians hold for the Isrealis... So the majority see the Isreali's as the bad guys, because they are strong and the Palestinians are weak.

Same story as to why a child who is bullied can not stand up and beat the fuck out of the bullies, without being punished worse than the bullies themselves would be punished. If you generally are a good person, you are punished worse because we don't want you becoming bad... but if you are bad, we want to include you into society but must slap your wrist.

This is played out by us slapping the Palistanisans wrist but bitch slapping Isreal... at least in the political arena. Isreal is too important as a military asset... or so the right wish us to believe. If we really wanted peace, we would hearden ourselves to what must be done, fly bombers over much of the mid-east and bomb with fire bombs, and moabs day and night until the radicals in the middle east are made to understand their ideals must end or we will end their peoples very existance in fire.

Report: Rise in global anti-Semitism

US State Department report on international religious freedoms sees rising tide of anti-Semitism throughout globe.

WASHINGTON – The US State Department's annual report on International Religious Freedom for 2011 indicates a rise in anti-Semitism and deteriorating religious freedom in China and Iran.

The report focuses on the rise in anti-Semitism around the world "manifested in Holocaust denial, glorification, and relativism; conflating opposition to certain policies of Israel with blatant anti-Semitism.

A rise in "Growing nationalistic movements that target 'the other;' and traditional forms of anti-Semitism, such as conspiracy theories, acts of desecration and assault, “blood libel,” and cartoons demonizing Jews," have also been reported.

In this context, the report mentions anti-Semitic declarations in Venezuela's official media and widespread anti-Israel sentiment in Egyptian media which often included anti-Semitic rhetoric and Holocaust denial or glorification. The report further mentioned web sites promoting Holocaust denial operated with Iran's consent; desecration of Jewish synagogues and cemeteries in France; rise in popularity of an openly anti-Semitic party, (Jobbik party) in Hungary; defacing Jewish property in Ukraine, including a synagogue and several Holocaust monuments and soccer matches in the Ukraine and the Netherlands marred by anti-Semitic slogans.

I looked at Gilady's face as he sat there, stone cold with no emotion. This man knew these athletes personally. This man led the Israeli media delegation at the 1972 Olympics and saw this atrocity first hand. This man saw my father's dead, naked body thrown out front of the Olympic Village for all the world to see.

Without a hint of empathy, Gilady excused himself from our meeting.

That's when I understood that the IOC wasn't turning us down because of their resistance to :politics.” Rather, it was due to the specific politics the IOC apparently still embraces. Based on its history of Nazi support, greed and the blood on their own hands for inciting the PLO, they would never support Israeli athletes.

Now, I have a message to all the members of the IOC. The torture inflicted by “Black September” on the 11 Israeli athletes and their families took 48 hours. Your torture of the families and the memories of those esteemed athletes has lasted 40 years. I am not satisfied with a moment of silence in every Opening Ceremony of the Summer Games. Now I want all of you to lose your jobs and be replaced by real Olympians who care about the athletes and believe in the Olympic charter.

The threat of the IOC coming after me does not scare me anymore. When you have no more dignity, you have nothing to lose. So, members of the IOC -- my name is Guri Weinberg and I am the son of Moshe Weinberg, the wrestling coach murdered at the 1972 Olympics. And I am not going away."

"Recently, new information about the Munich Massacre at the 1972 Olympic Games was released by German police as a result of pressure from German investigative reporters. It was reported that the “Black September” terrorists were helped by a Nazi group in Germany to get fake IDs, weapons and access to the Olympic Village.

This was not too shocking, as the head of the IOC in 1972 was Avery Brundage, a Nazi sympathizer and anti-Semite. His protege, Juan Samaranch, eventually served the second longest IOC term as president, but his support of Nazis and the Spanish dictator Francisco Franco was kept a dirty secret. Most IOC members knew the truth but stayed silent because he organized a regal lifestyle for them -- with money diverted from sport.

Another interesting fact is that Abu Iyad, one of the co-founders of the PLO, has said publicly that the reason “Black September” chose the 1972 Olympics as the stage for their hostage plot was because the PLO's request to the IOC for inclusion of the Palestinian delegation at the Olympic Games was completely ignored. This snub from the IOC came at a time when tension was at a boiling point in the Middle East. Yet, having incited the PLO, the IOC denied the Israeli government's request for security for the athletes.

In 1996, I, along with other Munich orphans and three of the widows, were invited for the first time to the Olympic Games in Atlanta. Before the Opening Ceremony, we met with Alex Gilady. Gilady has been a member of the IOC's Radio and Television Commission since 1984 and has been the senior vice president of NBC Sports since 1996.

I have known Mr. Gilady since I was a kid; in fact, I grew up with his daughter. He had been supportive in the past regarding our plea for a moment of silence during the Opening Ceremonies, so we arrived with high hopes. Gilady informed us that a moment of silence was not possible because if the IOC had a moment of silence for the Israeli athletes, they would also have to do the same for the Palestinians who died at the Olympics in 1972.

My mother said, "But no Palestinian athletes died."

Gilady responded, "Well, there were Palestinians who died at the 1972 Olympics."

I heard one of the widows say to Gilady, "Are you equating the murder of my husband to the terrorists that killed him?"

Silence.

Then Ilana Romano burst out with a cry that has haunted me to this day. She screamed at Gilady, "How DARE you! You KNOW what they did to my husband! They let him lay there for hours, dying slowly, and then finished him off by castrating him and shoving it in his mouth, ALEX!"
