But looking into it more, you are probably right - a prolonged Pacific war would have likely led to more Soviet occupation in the region.
See Aus that wasnt to hard was it? What I am saying is soviets didnt earn a partial occupation of Japan and Truman would have been chastized for such events and had no choice, he had to Use the Bomb, to end it now. Not to mention the 250,000+ thousand American lives that would have been lost. |
