WHY is a complicated matter, but in simple terms the use of data already willingly given is NOT a 5th amendment violation, and there is present both for liquidation of contraband both at the State and federal level....the POINT is though...and what is significant, even this dumb ass hick lawyer from Upstate NY knew better than to try to challenge it based on the 2nd amendment

To represent it as anything but one non binding opinion is not honest. There is no law or SCOTUS decision that declares semiautomatic pistols or rifles as being not protected under the 2nd amendment of our constitution. Live with it.

I've been involved in many discussions about having armed professionals in schools and you are the only one who has arrived at the total and absolute knowledge of what every on else intends to accomplish this with untrained, under qualified and underpaid individuals. I'd like to visit your crystal ball one of these days to check out some stock futures. Just how is it you know what everyone intends to do???? I've been talking to local and state education officials and local and state law enforcement and the consensus is that if it happens it has to be staffed with well trained professional people. You are still stuck on the notion that we can not spend much money to protect our children. Your position speaks loudly for how you value them.

It was NOT one judge, or just ANY judge...it was as I recall 5 Judges, and the opinion was written by THE most Conservative judge on the SCOTUS...when people ask "where do you draw the line", the answer is ...the line has been drawn. neither assault rifles or hi capacity magazines for rifles or handguns meet the criteria of "those which are commonly used by citizens for security and lawful practices". There was nothing vague or ambiguous about the decision. If you want to challenge it or prevent implementation legislatively fine , but as of now it is within the constitutional perameters of the federal Government to regulate those classes of waepons by virtue of both Heller and Milller
