Yes it is! Did someone say a suspension from school is a judgement of a kid's morality? That's fucked up.

Two football players had a quarrel. One pulled a gun. He was subdued by 2 or 3 guys. Both the armed kid and the unarmed kid are suspended, pending investigation.

If a good cop has to wrestle a gun away from a bad cop, they'll both be suspended pending an investigation. It may be lengthy, or it may be quick.

Uninformed people gain nothing by spouting judgment when they know not the details.

Ah so that is why there is so many people working that have criminal records. If we went by your standards there would be millions of people out of work because they could not be employed in fear of a law suit .You amaze me more everyday I read your dribble.

While you might be able to recite parts of the constitution, you fail to understand that an employer can employ who they want and they don't want anyone with a violent history... Even self defense.

Hiring such people can be used by another worker (if they sue after being assaulted by another worker unrelated to the person in question in the case presented here) in a work place law suit as an example of your hiring practice.

These are the precedents that the past few generations have given us, and what my generation must deal with if we want a good job... Not a great job like a 50k a year, but a good job like 25-35k a year.

The story was probably published online or on local broadcast news before the suspension was handed out anyway. It's not every day that a teenager disarms a classmate on the bus so it had to have been news somewhere. If nothing else, witnesses were probably talking about it on facebook or something. Bottom line is that suspended or not, the minute this kid acted it was all but certain to leave a digital footprint that anyone could have found with due diligence by anyone wanting to look into this kid's past.

LOL @ calling his actions and act of violence. Self defense isn't an act of violence, it's a reaction to violence.

If a college or employer can dig up his cleared suspension record, they can also dig up the news articles about the incident that lead to the suspension in the first place. Even if the suspension is on his record, he'd be asked about it and could clear things up relatively quickly.

And you obviously look at the people making the decisions and either relieve them of their duties or make a change in policy to try and prevent the same situation from happening again. Or do both. I didn't think this really needed to be stated.
