As far as I know, the newer VTX1800 come stock without any emblems on tank or rear fender. At least the "F" series does I know for sure, because that's the one I own. The only place it says "VTX" on it is on the chrome gas cap. I prefer it without any markings, people all the time ask me what type of bike it is "It ain't a Harley!" |

Yep. Honda builds a better bike, all things considered. Let me guess, you're one of those die hard HD nuts that wipes your HD oil leaks up with your HD rags. I bet you've got HD stickers on your winshield, HD vanity plates on the back of your glass, HD tats, you wear your HD jacket and HD sunglasses when you ride. Right?

We ride and '06 Honda VTX1800. Bigger bang for the buck than HD, outperforms every HD heavy cruiser and most of the lightweight cruisers (except the Vrod), and hardly anything every breaks (try saying that for HD). Plus its FI, water cooled, and uses a drive shaft in lieu of a belt.
And the Japanese hardly ever go on strike that I know of. |
