Original Starting post for this thread:
No war, No oil spill, No natural disaster, so why are oil prices heading up? Could it be the republibloods need some help to try to win in Nov? Soon as the economy shows a upward move the oil cats do their duty and try to level
the field. I listen to Mitts speach and it was like he just came out of the rabbit hole on jan 2009 . He never mention the disater his party
left for the President and the failure of his party to lift a finger to ameliorate.
Why don't they work with the democrips?
Any guesses?

Campaigning john kerry flip/flopper style, "I was for it before I was against it". Talk about a campaign in trouble, now obama thinks people will buy this crap...........

Energy Secretary Steven Chu on Tuesday recanted his notorious September 2008 comment that he hoped to see the cost of filling up to reach the far more.

"I no longer share that view," Chu told Republican Senator Mike Lee of Utah during a Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee hearing. "Of course we don't want the price of gasoline to go up. We want it to go down."

All I know is I'm paying 15 to 20 dollars extra a tank, and I will use 11 to 12 tanks to get what I need to do, done over the next two and a half weeks.

Guess Ill be firing up that wood stove , that is how the green movement will effect things, make oil so expensive people reach for alternatives and those often are anything but green.

If you heat with oil put in your order and have your tank full this summer. There maybe no heating oil next winter. Very little gas or diesel in your area either.

They are closing marcus hook because it would be unprofitable to keep it open and are focusing on their retail sales .Labor and benifits for the union workers has increased and pressures to update the 105 year old plant to epa standards too expensive. So the admin gets it's way gasoline closer to what they pay in europe and union workers getting a paycheck from the govt.

Anyone on the East Coast or in Penn know why Sonoco is shutting down their refinery in Penn? There are going to be fuel shortages in that area when they shut down that plant.
