(republican or democrat led) I will simply support and demand that it be fought from the air and all militia member's homes, property and other be seized by the police or destroyed with air strikes... The militia men gathered in the woods bombed with the biggest weapons usable without destroying the civilian population centers. So choose the option of war or violence very carefully... Because you will find that while we more liberal minded might not be as able to fight in the woods... We will have less of a problem with using bombs from aircraft to wipe out the entire militia man army in the woods from 32,000 feet up.
