Like the Republicans were any better?? What they need to do is first BAN all earnmarks, NO PORK, NO RIDDERS OR ADD ONS to any bill. No suppmental funding bills. Everything must be in the open and voted on in the open. Second NO DEFICIT SPENDING if the goverment only has 1.5 trillion dollars to spend than that is it!! If we need more money than either raise taxes or cut spending. Oh and Leave SOCIAL SECURITY ALONE.

It is my understanding President Bush will now veto the bill. Also I believe it only passed by something like around 220 for and around 210 against. If Bush vetoes same it does not appear that Congress can get the votes to override the veto.
