Since the Department of Homeland Security has a mission related to defense against domestic terrorism, citizens should be involved in monitoring and locating assault weapons through the DHS registry. This is the stated mission of what could be an assault weapons-control citizen group: The mission of Citizen Corps is to harness the power of every individual through education, training, and volunteer service to make communities safer, stronger, and better prepared to respond to the threats of terrorism, crime, public health issues, and disasters of all kinds. Citizen Corps asks you to embrace the personal responsibility to be prepared; to get training in first aid and emergency skills; and to volunteer to support local emergency responders, disaster relief, and community safety. State and municipal agencies related to civil defense should have at least one day each year to promote a 'Show Me Your Weapon' day in which assault weapons owners show cooperation with DHS through providing assurance that they, and not anyone else, have possession of their weapon. In addition, they should report how many rounds of ammo they have and where it is located. Representatives of the Citizen Corps should make on-premise inspections, accompanied by a National Guard platoon during weekend trainings.

A registry for assault weapon owners, and the requirement that they join some form of militia which is considered to be a legitament militia of a state. (active militia or inactive) After all, the 2nd amendment does say that the entire reason for its existance is so that the people may form said militias. It never stated that you had to have (insert weapon) but to build a bridge and keep assault weapons out of the hands of people who we as a society has deemed a threat... Requiring assault weapon owners (at no expense of the owner) to be a member of a militia recognized by the state level of government... Able to be called upon by the state or local governments if so need be. This call to duty would include things like natual distastor relief, extra security for events at lower ends of government... Ect.

From 2007 to 2011, according to the Freedom Group’s most recent annual report, domestic consumer long gun sales grew at a compound annual rate of 3 percent; modern sporting rifle sales grew at a 27 percent rate. In the Year 2013, the Department of Homeland Security needs to be the agency that controls and regulates the use of assault weapons by creating, maintaining, and publishing a registry of assault weapons owners. Each state should be required to monitor the location and support, through their local National Guard militia, those assault-weapon owners who are now a poorly regulated militia. This would comply with the Second Amendment of the Constitution.

Wayne's NRA World could also fit the category of 'anarchist nationals' when the voices of their insanity, like Ted Nugent and Michelle Bachmann, cry out for a 'Second Amendment Solution' to the supposed confiscation of assault weapons. Their self-fulfilling prophecy about themselves should be accompanied by tears of blood, knowing they have disgraced the honor of true patriots, replacing it with the false 'super patriotism' with domestic terrors of their own choice.

Well, I can read the original post, but the OP won’t be able to read this, unless he uses his super secret other profile… I do not support terrorism, domestic or otherwise. I'm unsure how you define an assault weapon. If you mean banning semiautomatic rifles, I do not support a ban on those. Does my god support my political agenda? ROTFLMAO Sometimes you’re a funny guy ZZ. Regarding the last question in the OP, in the immortal words of Jules Winnfield: “English motherfucker. Do you speak it?”

White racist movements remain major contributors to terrorism, but the toll of terrorist activities has also included socialist, anarchist, and minority nationalist groups, as well as terrorism associated with the environment and animal rights. Wayne's NRA World presents itself as 'super patriot society' defending the Second Amendment, but according to the FBI definition, it could be considered a 'right-wing' or 'special-interest' terrorist organization. Wayne's NRA World enables acts of domestic terrorism by promoting the sale of domestic assault weapons.

His tactics have won battles and wars where he was from and fought. McVeigh had I obtainable goals and wished to change 40 years of established laws on abortion. Bin laden's first and primary goals are where the US out of the middle east... His tactics worked against the Soviets... A people who to bin laden seemed no different than the US.. A super power invading.

User Details are only visible to members.	Maybe a terrorist is just a mentally ill person with an evil support system. Then again, wasn't McVeigh a terrorist? He seemed to act alone, though he may have had inspiration from someone else. Is Breivik a terrorist? He had an ideology, and his victims were not random. I guess I don't see a sharp line between terrorizing a neighborhood or a whole country. I think it's all mentally deranged.

Not only do you make yourself sound unintelligent, but you detract from any discussion on the reason for the murders. Terrorism by comparison to sandy hook is simple. The terrorist has an agenda, typically greed and desires to obtain their goals through the use of terror and fear. Mass killers just want to see the world burn. Why is terrorism simple when it sounds complex? Because what create the terrorist is known. Greed, power or ideology. What creates a mentally ill person and then sets them off is not known. We know the terrorist will use all means to accomplish his goals and reject a police state to stop him because we accept that there is no end to their cruelty. Adversely the majority of people are unawear of the lengths a mentally ill person can or will go to watch the world burn. The idea that someone would want to watch society burn, just to see it burn is more alien to us than religious wars and suicid bombers. This is why we (namely people like you) fear them so... Fearing them is t necessarily the wrong thing to do, but baning someone's freedom because of that fear is wrong. This is why a national mental health campgain is the only way forward. Fear is easy, the ability to cause our world to burn is something we all have the ability to do regardless of limitations our society places upon us.
