Texas is almost there with their new law and more than a dozen other states are close behind. The concept of the government having the right to look in on us 24/7 as they wish will be a slam dunk as unconstitutional when it reaches the SCOTUS. |

"What does everyone thinK???"
1) Not a bad idea so long as it is governed by the same rules and laws that the police are governed by. 2) Given the stated uses of public safety or disaster, I am not overly concerned. 3) Only a fool would think that drones wouldn't be used in the US, that such technology wouldn't be applied to local law enforcement and or internal watch dogs. So long as anything that they record is done so in accordance with the law, it is no different than the police watching you and recording your actions. |
