When Christianity was as young as Islam is now, Christianity was the government. The pop ruled and if you failed to obey him, you were excommunicated and anyone may kill you without sin. At the least with Islam it's power isn't centralized with one man. This is why Islam holds the potential to become a religion of peace at a faster rate than Christianity. Because there is a difference between radical Islam and Islam. |

Robert your second post. I suggest you do some research on Islam. You will find out that it does control the government aspect of a country.And as far as Christians go you should go and do a little more research about that also. I doubt that you ever spent a lot of time in church growing up or attend now.

(2nd post) Islam only works in that manner when radical islam is enforced. Islam itself doesn't demand that the government they live under do anything for it. More over Christianity has done the same things radical Islam is doing now. I would strongly advise you to open a history book and learn how the two are acting in the same manner. |
