That is how a Guerrilla war has be fought for decades. You should spend time reading your history. Some people lack the ability to fight but can provide support to the cause by other means. The strategy and tactics of guerrilla warfare tend to focus around the use of a small, mobile force competing against a larger one. Guerrilla's focuses on organizing in small units, depending on the support of the local population, as well as taking advantage of terrain more accommodating of small units. If the government harms to many people who are not supporting the guerrilla's they will be driven to their cause. Does that sound familiar??

"Robert do you have any idea how it would work. The people fighting the government would be living with the rest of the population. It would be hit and run tactics. There would be no mass attacks on government complexes."

And those people you live with, they know you are part of the insurgency? If so, then they are just as guilty as the cowardly insurgents, thus I would not weep for their deaths.

Only cowards would have to hid in and amongst the civilian population, so if you support such tactics... Then you are supporting those who are cowards, boy's playing war, play a mans game.

I don't dream or hope for the day that we fight our next civil war. However if a man is only as good as his word, and the righties keep preaching second amendment solutions and fighting against a tyrranical government... Then civil war ought to be expected, or these people ought to be totally ignored and banned from positions of power as they aren't men of their word... Even in the slightest.

I will refer you to the civil war as the bases upon which the president gains a wide range of powers. If this nation devolves into a state of civil war, I will suppor the president in the use of drones against any group that we cannot use ground forces against.

So if you are held up in your cabin and you want to make it your last stand... The president ought to be able to make it your tomb.... Or smoking hole in the ground.

ERIC HOLDER: Lethal Force By POTUS Against A U.S. Citizen, And Without Trial, Is Legal Attorney General Eric Holder can imagine a scenario in which it would be constitutional to carry out a drone strike against and American on American soil, he wrote in a letter to Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky.

“It is possible, I suppose, to imagine an extraordinary circumstance in which it would be necessary and appropriate under the Constitution and applicable laws of the United States for the President to authorize the military to use lethal force within the territory of the United States,” Holder replied in a letter yesterday to Paul’s question about whether Obama “has the power to authorize lethal force, such as a drone strike, against a U.S. citizen on U.S. soil, and without trial.”

Paul condemned the idea. “The U.S. Attorney General’s refusal to rule out the possibility of drone strikes on American citizens and on American soil is more than frightening – it is an affront the Constitutional due process rights of all Americans,” he said in a statement.

Holder noted that Paul’s question was “entirely hypothetical [and] unlikely to occur,” but cited the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks as the type of incidents that might provoke such a response.

“Were such an emergency to arise, I would examine the particular facts and circumstances before advising the President on the scope of his authority,” he concluded.

Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, an attorney and Judiciary Committee member, told The Washington Examiner last month that the drone policy so far outlined by the administration is too vague.

“That has the potential to swallow the rule,” Lee said after the drone program white paper was leaked. “If you’re going to regard somebody as presenting an imminent threat of an attack on the U.S. simply because you have concluded that they are an ‘operational leader’ or they are involved in planning an attack in one way or another, you find yourself giving way to much discretion to the government.”

Lee said that the White House should release the formal legal analysis underpinning the drone program. “We know that in some instances where the government has released its legal analysis, it gets it wrong,” he said. EG via The Washington Examiner...

Maybe we need to inform the FBI that Rdy2Playwu was bragging about getting a remote control plane so that he could fly it over his neighbor's home. Maybe he didn't know how to operate the remote and wound up in JFK instead of the 92 year old Mrs.Fisher's semi attached home? ===================================

"NEW YORK -- The FBI and the Federal Aviation Administration said Tuesday they are investigating a pilot's report that he spotted a small unmanned aircraft near Kennedy Airport.

The Alitalia pilot told controllers that he saw the aircraft as he approached the runway at Kennedy at about 1:15 p.m. Monday. The pilot said the aircraft was 4 to 5 miles southeast of the airport and was flying at an altitude of about 1,500 feet.

The FBI said the aircraft was described as black in color and no more than 3 feet wide with four propellers.

"The FBI is asking anyone with information about the unmanned aircraft or the operator to contact us," Special Agent in Charge John Giacalone said. "Our paramount concern is the safety of aircraft passengers and crew."

The FBI said the unmanned aircraft came within 200 feet of the Alitalia plane.

The Alitalia pilot can be heard on radio calls captured by LiveATC.n et, a website that posts air traffic communications, saying, "We saw a drone, a drone aircraft." The FAA said the pilot did not take evasive action and the plane landed safely.

The FAA and FBI did not say whether Alitalia passengers might have seen the unmanned aircraft.

It's unclear what the small aircraft was. Some remote-controlled planes flown by hobbyists are wider than 3 feet. Under FAA rules, model planes are restricted to altitudes of 400 feet or less.

"FBI seeks public assistance in identifying, locating unmanned aircraft and operator" On Monday, March, 4, 2013, at approximately 1:15 p.m., the pilot of Alitalia Flight #608 spotted a small unmanned aircraft while on approach to John F. Kennedy International Airport. The Alitalia flight was roughly three miles from runway 31R when the incident occurred at an altitude of approximately 1,750 feet. The unmanned aircraft came within two hundred feet of the Alitalia plane. The FBI is investigating the incident, looking to identify and locate the aircraft and its operator. The unnamed aircraft was described as black in color and no more than three feet wide with four propellers. “The FBI is asking anyone with information about the unmanned aircraft or the operator to contact us,” said Special Agent in Charge John Giacalone. “Our paramount concern is the safety of aircraft passengers and crew.” Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 212-xxx-xxx. Tipsters may remain anonymous."

I had a devout Republican tell me that "NOT A SINGLE MILITARY MEMBER SHOULD RECEIVE RETIREMENT PAY, JUST BECAUSE THEY HIT 20-25 YRS."

I wonder what he feels in "minimum" yrs needed for a pension? Who deserves to be paid once finished working?
