No Robert it is you that posts complete utter nonsense over and over and over. You never stop posting nonsense. About the only thing that agrees with you is your voices.

"It is one of the leading reasons that the police have such a hard time getting warrants. "
LMFAO Police get warrants with a simple phone call. You really have no clue about nothing. You have to be the only person in existence that is completely clueless. |

Robert in most states police have immunity unless they clearly violate civil rights. So no most times a lawsuit is not possible. Unfortunately being incompetent and going to the wrong house is not considered a civil rights violation.

Most speeding tickets can be beaten just by hiring a lawyer, The reason most do not use an attorney is because The cost of the attorney usually outweighs the fines.
People can win on their own, it takes time and patience, same thing a lawyer does. |

Agree with Robert.
Less than two months ago, I won a driving violation case. Six months ago, my son had a dismissed driving violation as well. Indeed your chances of losing *fighting* the police if you are representing yourself. If however, you have an attorney, your chances of winning are pretty darn good. In addition, my cousin filed a lawsuit against the NYPD about 10 years ago, and got it settled for a nice amount. I'm sure that if the NYPD thought that they have a chance to win, or that it was a worthy case to continue with it, they would not have settled. |

Rdy:
I have a prosecutor friend who would laugh at that statement that you just pulled out of your ass. You don't win, because you don't have a case. If the police error, they are open to settlements and or suit to make you whole. It is one of the leading reasons that the police have such a hard time getting warrants. |

Every law suit against the PD will never win. Just like cross examining a police officer in court for you speeding ticket. They are expperts and the court will take their word instead of yours. If you go up against the PD you will loose. Robert, go to municiple court and spend some time observing. It's an education you'll never learn in school.

None of you have said anything about if these people sued the police for their use of force.
