You are correct, the governor approved the increase in minimum wage. Now the business community is suffering from it. That is why we cross our fingers when the anti-business bills goes before him. For the most part, his record on vetoing anti-business legislation is very good to excellent. But still, we worry - here's why: The big issue now is that he is trying to reconcile some form of universal health care with the leaders of the Democratic Party. The minimum wage increase will not compare to the detrimental impact on the small business community. |
