Fj , you also forgot about the fire that was caused by the first bombs that didnt explode, but was able to divert the second security officer to the location with the fire dept to put out the fire.... while they proceded to move on with thier plan, which we all know No crazy person ever thinks through thier plan such as that incident

(cough cough..Fort Hood...Columbine...cough cough)" You have already been caught throwing misinformation on the above~~Why do you continue to make yourself look like a wacko? Had the soldiers been armed the Fort Hood shooting would have been stopped sooner. Had the cop stayed on his post at Columbine it could, and probably would have been averted. The Fort Hood shooter was a terrorist, the kids took advantage of clear stupidity. Neither incident should have been as bad as it was. There is no reason not to trust our troops to be armed, especially in wartime. As same for the teachers any trained soldier should be allowed to be armed that wants to.

Locking people up for wearing different colored socks is not the answer. The answer is personal responsibility, it works. The schools are responsible for the students, they need to provide the necessary security by whatever reasonable means. Secure locking doors is a big start. Allowing concealed carry by trained staff is a good start. If a person cannot be trusted with a gun why in the hell would we trust them with our children? LAW ABIDING CITIZENS do not go around shooting people. There is no rational reason they should not be allowed tools to defend themselves and the people around them anywhere. All the other horseshit is just horseshit. Do some more research, and tell us how many incidents of shootings have taken place in the presence of law abiding armed citizens? And then do some more research to find how many times a concealed carry law abiding citizen has stopped a crime. Gun control has nothing to do with safety, it has to do with control.

User Details are only visible to members.	Regardless of what you think of me, I'm still pro-gun. I received my first .22 at 6, my first shotgun at 10, and my first hunting rifle at 16. I refuse to be a part of the NRA for my own personal reasons. By all means, change the argument from "Lets make everyone safer by giving everyone guns and posting armed guards anywhere people want to meet" to "Lets make everyone safer by banning lunch breaks for the guys with guns at above said locations". For a guy who's fed up with how big the government is, you're asking it to add more rules and people to enforce them. Hell, lets add armed guards to every meeting place where children could gather. Lets give every citizen access to a firearm. What could possibly go wrong? Except...What happens when the person who's tasked with protecting you turns his back, or worse, turns on you? (cough cough..Fort Hood...Columbine...cough cough) Why does it always come down to "Lets add more firepower" or "Lets take all the firepower away" instead of "Lets solve the problem of WHY some whack-a-doodle wanted to take a gun into an elementary school to shoot little kids in the first place". Tools are just tools until someone comes along and finds a use for it that was never intended. Guns don't kill innocent people, mentally fucked-up people with access to guns kill innocent people. I could just as easily go out and kill as many, or more people, with my car right now and you wouldn't be screaming for more cars on the road and the other side wouldn't be screaming to have them all removed. Ferfuxxake man, it's not about the tool of choice, it's about the mental instability of a select few people who should have been kicked down a well at birth, or at the very least been given a room at a place with very high walls away from the rest of the general population instead of access to as much firepower as their credit cards could afford. Lets fix the problem, not generate a new one.

User Details are only visible to members.	PB you need to do some research. There were no armed guards around the men shot at Fort Hood. Military bases are GFSZ. At Columbine the officer left for his daily lunch run and was NOT in the school at the time. Which I kinda think is an important factoid that should not be left out. I give you the benefit of the doubt you did not know and was not trying to intentionally mislead.
