Now if everyone would actually DO this (esp congress critters) we would not have a recession. The signs (and comments from the losers to date) are not promising. Let's see if Obama decides to knock heads together this time instead of trying to treat sociopaths like humans.... |

Rich, have you heard that Romney wanted to cut 5 trillion dollars from govt revenues AND increase the military budget by 2 trillion?
Seven trill -- that's 23,000 per man, woman, and child. Where would that have come from? If you made a billion dollars last year and paid 14% in taxes, you took home only $860 million. Double your tax rate, and you only take home $720 million. The difference is $140,000,000 that the Govt has to spend on college grants, pre-natal checkups, and many other services, for a few hundred thousand poor people. |
