ok what constitutes a "law" going over the line?....just remember if a law passes then it is the duty of law enforcement to carry it out. whether they belive in it or not. now as far as new gun laws go, it will have to pass the senate and the house. house run by republicans. senate run by democrats. if and only if the "new" (use that term loosly, already had ban at one time) congress passes the law. then it will be both parties who will be at "fault". now what doesn't anyone understand?

Laws never say..YOU MAY NOT....they say ..IT IS UNLAWFUL TO...and then lay out the penalty Laws keep law abiding citizens lawful by setting boundaries and regulations Laws punish criminals who do not obey the law When criminals are in jail, society is safe from them. That's how it works. If you illegally sell your gun once universal background checks are put in place, you are no longer a law abiding citizen |

....Try not to be so risiculous....No law, rule, or regulation will "prevent all crime" and in spite of you silly straw man, no one ever claimed that they would. No to mention, if you made it past 7th grade social studies, you would know that is not the purpose of laws to begin with
