I think the country is tired of the Bushes.

If George had done a better job, it has always been said that Jeb is the bright one. Of course, that is not saying much when compared with George.

We will see how tired America is of the Clintons in about 12 months.

I think Jeb is sharp! I would like to see him make a run at it - but as long as we're in Iraq, it will be difficult for him to battle all the various groups (including some the Republican Party) by trying to defend his brother, especially if the situation in Iraq is not improved dramatically.

If, on the other hand, the government in Iraq takes control and stabilizes the Mafia-type environment in Iraq - he may have a chance. Emphasis on "may".

MTV news (I know, I know) is reporting that the South Carolina Democratic Party has rejected Stephen Colbert's bid to be on the ballot in that state.

He says he won't run as a Republican, because the $35,000 is over what he is allowed to spend by election rules. Don't quite understand that one.

He can still run as an independent if he gets 10,000 signatures on a petition. Probably not too tough for him.
