Original Starting post for this thread:
So you want to be a capitalist? Is not, one of the founding principles of capitalism, to pay for what one wants? If so, doesn't it stand to reason that capitalist must pay to retain the capitalist system which the masses (through their vote) have decided to alter or discard? Evolution dicates that things no longer used evolve away, to make room for more useful things. So if our capitalist are not willing to pay the cost of keeping capitalism a useful adaptation to survival, should it not be allowed to evolve away as the unneeded appendage?

Capitalism = supplying the client with what is demanded. The employer has a client, society. Fail to provide what the client demands, the client goes else where, that is big brother.

If it wasn't for the welfare systems, Walmart would be out of business, unable to sell goods and services. That means investors who had been making money off of walmart's profits, would withdraw their investments and wisely so. This in turn would close more stores, putting manufacturers, transporters and others out of work. Repeat the sell off of stocks.

additionally, the farmers are heavily subsadized by the government, through welfare and other programs. Through the loss of these programs, the farmers go out of business, thus killing the biggest source of profit for John deer and other farm equipment manufacturers.

the welfare system has touched every aspect of our economy, it lives and breaths on the subsadized labor market. (Welfare recipiants, employed or not)

Without the welfare given to the poor, the poor will not be able to buy goods and services, therefor your crude oil that you pump. Thus everyone making money from the sale of oil, is make money from welfare paid to the masses. This includes you.

Robert the wealthy other than the crooked polititions, did not in any way get that way from the fucking Government. The people that are wealthy either made that money or had it handed down from the ones who made that money. You need to quit blaming the wealthy for your zero ness. Seriouslly.

Lucky:

You are half right. Both systems, (all systems) will have the rich and the poor. There is nothing that can be done about this, what there can be done however, what we have control over, is the impression the masses have of the wealthy.

both Obama and Romney are dirty wealthy, both make money off the suffering of others, there is no denying this. The reason Obama is given a pass or forgiveness for this is that he works to get the masses welfare, to put food on the workers table, heat in their homes/appartments, better (attempt)the education system, in short, he is perceived as providing for the common man.

Romney on other hand isn't seen as caring for the common man and has been caught dead to rights saying as much. So long as this image remains unchanged, so long as you claim prosperity comes from hard work when the common man does work hard (work hard as defined as 40 hours a week, with good or excellent work attendance) and not advance, you will not sell capitalism and so, the trend to socialism/communism continues until the people abandon capitalism as it stands now.

If you want to retain your capitalist system, you need to start paying for it, or the people will shop else where for the resources you are not providing.

Those who say the unions are dead are right, they are dead. In the place of the unions are the government welfare system, a much larger union which you cannot break without committing mass suicide.
