maybe this is not surprising but apparently the Court during oral arguments seem to be favoring the school's position. that is not always a dead give away as to the way the decision will be written but interesting nonetheless.

Here is the real question.
Are minors or should minors be covered by the Right of Free Speech? Most of your Constitutional Rights do not take place until you are an adult. Cannot purchase a rifle until you are 18, handgun at 21. Vote at 18 Drink at 21 Many states won't even Marandize minors unless it is a Capitol case. Minors usually are victims to illegal searches by police. So should a High School student be allowed the Right of Free Speech when minors basically are not covered by not only by the Bill of Rights but the Constitution itself? |
