Present a theory with a thesis. Refute a theory with a counter-thesis. It seems that the subjects of ecology and environmental studies are more about political points-of-view than scientific data, evidence, conclusion and reality.
Blue Solo cup, I fill you up, let's have an ecology party! |

If they 'live too deep' does that mean they are unaffected by environmental factors, or that you don't spearfish in the deep sea?

Hooking a Shortspine Hornyhead or one of the other 490 fish from the Pacific waters won't be one of your environmental activities which contribute to scientific refutation, then.

Since that fish resides in the pacific off of mexico and le nina is right in its home zone I expect it may not be doing well, but I dont beleive it has been studied and I dont see a trip to mex on my own to find out.

Nope just saying lower water temps brought on to the pacific fisheries by our present le nina has a negative effect on plankton and baitfish and therefore sportfish. You asked....

Are you claiming that you found evidence to refute the claim that Pacific Spiny Lumpsucker was among those fish caught by the scientific expedition?
Are you ready to prove that the Pacific Spiny Lumpsucker is just a 'thought fish' in the scientific study? |

The cold water of la nina drive the anchovies away and slow the growth of plankton so therefore are not particularly good for the fishing.

It seems that drinking from the red Solo cup results in misguided and poorly calculated fishing expeditions.

But did either of you catch any fish along the Pacific Coast when you attempted to refute the claims of the scientific expidition?
