I disagree. The ROEs that our soldiers live by... prevent them from opening fire on a crowd of civilians... That crowd is why the ambassador had to flee the compound, not the armed insurgents.

I think Obama is making a brilliant move by focusing on Big Bird and PBS... PBS' CEO makes over $600,000 per year in salary, and the Sesame Street brands make millions of dollars, but PBS needs to be subsidized by tax dollars?

Let me put it this way, if Sesame street is the worse that they can latch on, the Left is fucked with no lube!

I would think Romney's campaign would want it to run as much as possible. It smacks of desperation. I don't think it's born of desperation, but that's the impression it gives.

Sesame Street wants President Obama’s campaign to take down its latest attack ad against Mitt Romney, which features footage of Big Bird.

“Sesame Workshop is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization and we do not endorse candidates or participate in political campaigns,” a Tuesday statement on Sesameworkshop dot org reads. “We have approved no campaign ads, and as is our general practice, have requested that the ad be taken down.”

The Obama campaign said it would review the request.

“We’ve received and will review their concerns,” said an Obama campaign official.
