Military flash suppressors are designed to reduce the muzzle flash from the weapon to preserve the shooter's night vision, usually by directing the incandescent gases to the sides, away from the line of sight of the shooter, and to reduce the flash visible to the enemy. Military forces engaging in night combat are still visible when firing, especially with night vision gear, and must move quickly after firing to avoid receiving return fire.

LOL WOW you got to their website quick. So you still have no proof of your statements. Go figure. And how many short barrel rifles have been used in mass shootings. Good luck with that one.

LOL please get real. Throw me a hint here what manufactures say that about a pistol grip. How about the use of low flash powder instead of a flash suppressor? Are they going to try and out law low flash powder next??

The fact that the features in question function as I described is universally acknowledged even by the manufactures.
The only time they come into question is in conversations like this, where people who pay $500 to $1000 more for them claim it is just cosmetic and "looks scary" It's a bit ridiculous |

Pp scroll down a few post. You will find out how things really work when firing a weapon. With the features you always say make them so more deadly. I guess you have no facts to back up your statement when the truth is laid out for you.

"They are comparable in every function and in capacity and shoot the same cartridge, The only feature they do not share is the pistol grip"
Exactly Norcal...so you answered your own question as to why one would be legal under the proposed ban and one would not...what are you still confused about? |
