Original Starting post for this thread:
I was talking with some people about the idea of armed guards in the schools... I think if I hear one more person say that it is a good idea, I am going to get a camera man, a uniformed guard from the school and see if I can use the High school lobby to demonstrate how you would need no less than 3 guards stationed no closer than 20 feet of each other to protect the one entry point.

Tools I would use.

1x can of shaving cream to act as the bear mace. 1x coat.

The guards will have orange toy guns to simulate the fire arms that they will carry.

There would be two or more versions of the video where by in one the three guards are close together as most would be.. Talking with one another...

The second video would have them no closer than 20 feet of each other and demonstrate how you would need to have 3 guards at three different angles so to shoot me while I use the disabled guard as a human shield and use his weapon to threaten or shoot the second guard.

Now my old high school had 3 primary doors and 4 secondary doors not counting the supply doors where bulk supplies are dropped off.

Lets say the 4 secondary doors are locked. So that is 9 armed guards to protect one building... No secondary layers of protection.

Now armed teachers should be paid more... Almost twice what they are paid now. (the risk one assumes when one must discharge their fire arms, the skills they must learn in addition to their already obtained teaching skills and all refresher classes they must take yearly.)

Now my high school had 2 buildings. One the general studies such as Math, science, social studies, englishes, the gym, swimming pool, other. The other building had the career prep, the metal shops, the graphic shops, ect...

Now double the guards. So we have 18 armed guards.

As current, between both schools, they might have a total of 5-6 security guards total, not one of them is armed with more than their hands.

There are 2-3 Jr. High schools in town, 3-5 elementry schools. So if we times 9 guards per building we have 63 armed security guards. A job paying no less than 35k a year times 63 guards times 1 year of work is nearly or over two million USD a year for security at one school not including the teachers who would be armed.

Who wants to pay for this when you times 2 million USD against every school district in the US?

Asian:

That isn't socialism. If we had socialism, those unemployed would be showing up to dock yards to learn metal cutting skills, and other, they would be showing up to community parks to do improving work. They would be handed shovels and buckets to remove snow from streets and dumping it in the coal holes left from strip mining.

Those not able to be worked like that would be used to do other things which builds skills or those scoring high enough on standardized test woukd be sent to college/trade schools where they would learn new skills.

Entire factories would be built and operated by the government if need be and those sent to college for engineering the ones to design the buildings, the products made and other.

Would this put others out of work? Probably, so they sign up and get the same work or you job creators get off your asses now before we really do become socialist and then communist.

Asian:

Short of turning the US socialist or communist, there isn't much that can be done to the takers... The top 1 to 5% of this nation. Their refusal to share the wealth of the productivity if the US people with their employees has lead the people to turn to the government.

The government has in turn provided to the people what it can without hurting the top too much and the top hasn't learned that they are a member of this greater nation which they reside in. So the nation will fall, it will fail because if greed of men at the top and their followers like Fjep who long for the days when the top could call in private police and just about do as they wanted. (look up coal miner rebellions)

The days that the righties long for we're the days that almost ushered into this nation socialism and communism as acceptable forms of government and economic systems.

One must question if that isn't the intent of the right? To actually usher in a radical change which they believe will grant them total control should they be the ones in control at that time?

Nor:

And most of your special forces won't join the rebels side of any war because they are loyal tithe government which serves the people of the US... A people you would deny their right to vote for the elected officials of their choice... Simply because you don't like the direction of this nation.

Until the vote is removed. THERE IS NO good reason for war.

The onvicted felons in the US have a greater reason to become rebels than you do. (2nd amendment or not) they have no vote.

The illegals in the US have a greater reason for rebellion than you do.

The people you would disinfranchise because they have not a voter ID have a better reason to rebel than you do.

If you lose the second amendment, it is because you chose the road of radicalism when you could have had more moderate laws which included a national mental health program which should have shown your sincerity to reducing mass killings.

As such, shut up already you pathetic man child. You have no grounds for a legitament rebellion... Even if your second amendment is taken away. You voted to give it away with your radicalism.

Are you aware that all Rangers are SOF troops. Special Operations Forces???? Take a look at eagle claw, and urgent fury. Tell me how that was reactionary. You are truly ignorant of all tactical operations reactive and proactive. Yes I was on the ground for eagle claw, and I got our of a perfectly good plane at just over 500' on the initial inserting of urgent fury. The school we took did not have one punk with an AR but a military squad dug in and expecting us armed with fully automatic AK47's. We didn't loose a man. They barely slowed us down. I don't tell or listen to war stories because are total BS told by people who have never been there. But the ones who really piss me off are the know it all idiots who have never been through army or marine basic, never been through AIT or combat readiness training, never been through Ranger school, never been through Urban (house to house) combat training, never been in a combat zone, never been responsible for the lives of the men behind you, never been shot at and never pulled the trigger intending to kill others, Telling me how it should be done. You know nothing about tactics, offensive or defensive, urban, jungle, desert or anyplace else. I'd bet you never put a set of sights on another person and have never been shot at. And just think, there are tens of thousands of vets out there just like me. Many of them have at least as much experience behind a M-16/M-4, 1911 45ACP and Barrie 9MM as I do.
