Gee..what a shocker...You vote against the will of 90% of America, and your about as popular as a fart in a hot tub So only one of these are up for re-election in 2014...won't matter, they have damaged the BRAND and in the midterms, their endorsements will be moot. Watch what happens after the midterms, and some meaningless language in the bill is changed and reintroduced. Think they'll vote against it again?...LOL...Not in a Million years By Far, Flake is the biggest idiot. Vote NO in Gabby Gifford's State? Based just on the stupidity of that alone, he proved he is not qualified to serve in the Senate Oh...and I told you so. Let the moronic chorus of "The polls are rigged" begin

LOL...Azcouple, Those flaming Liberals at fox news did a poll and the findings show 85% of those polled favored gun regulations. You need to get out of the talk radio echo chamber now and then. Not only is po9lling a science, it is BIG business. Pollsters are not going to jeopardize their livelihoods by giving a skewed outcome. The single exception had been Rasmussen...it was a poll created by bullshitters for gullible idiots. All that changed around September of 2012 when their polls were "outliers" day after day after day, and RCP and several news agencies threatened to dump them if they didn't cut the crap. Just like majik, By mid October, they were right uin line with the no less than 20 other polls which has Obama winning the election by 3 to 5 points. AS I recall, you and yours claimed those polls were wrong too.

Azcouple:

I have to agree with you, polls can be a science if and only if you are willing to do hard science and aren't being paid to get answers for one side or the other.

Gov Cuomo's ratings have plummeted since his NY SAFE act was passed. we shall all have to wait and see what the mid term elections say.

Polling could be a science as long as those involved are interested only in unbiased results. Misleading questions, oversampling of one party over another can be used to give you the outcome you want. If I totted out some polls that disagreed with your world view would you accept them as science? I’m thinking that wouldn’t be the case and you would as you should question the motives and the overall agenda any one group is pushing.

Right AZ couple, you mean like those polls last fall that showed Obama would be Romney by 3 to 5 points that were "rigged" to fit the media's agenda? Please...spare me..Polling is a science. The VAST majority of Americans favor reasonable gun regulations...but by all means..keep pretending they don't

The “will” of the American people can be fickle and depending on how you word your questions you can arrive at any conclusion you wish. It would seem that you have swallowed the poll numbers they offer hook line and sinker because it fits the narrative you wish to promote and or desperately wish to believe. Anyone who thinks they are getting anything but agenda driven news reporting/poll results from main stream media isn’t using critical thinking. Heavily biased reporting occurs from both Fox and NBC, ABC, MSNBC etc etc. They all have individual products/agendas to sell.

Insofar as Arizona politics go, right or wrong, his blunder was not voting no on the bill but voting to allow the bill to move to a vote at all. You place far too much weight with Mrs. Gifford’s former constituents clout here then is justified.
